It may well be higher than 1-10. I was just going by the % of pups that earned titles off of some of the historical stud reproducers. Most of them were between 10%-20% if memory serves me right. I would bet most have not seen 7-9 pups out of 10 make it..... likely due in part to the reasons you mention. But if that's what you are seeing and producing you are definately ahead of the curve. Those numbers would put you at the top of any hound reproduction program I have heard of. I don't believe many if any of the current top reproducers are over 60%.
