I remember a woods that I was told I could hunt if I killed everything that I treed. We did not bring the coon in because they were not worth it. The coyotes started coming to the dogs treed to get that coon after we left. They would set around about 100 yds off and yelp. We sarted shooting at them and hit a couple and they quit coming around. My dog is 78 lbs and 27" at his shoulders and one of the yotes looked bigger then him.

i thought i read the eastern yotes are crossing with the grey wolves??? Biggest i seen was 63,, and it was a blackish color
