Wouldn't go to the woods without it!! Great bow! But ya still have to be a good archery hunter.

I shoot an old Browning "Avalanche II" that maxes out at 67 pounds. I am still using aluminum arrows with Rocket mini blasters because they work well for me. I have harvested deer out to 42 yards with this set-up with a clean pass through. The last two years the shots have been slam dunks of less than 10 yards.

I shoot about a 20 year old Darton Viper. At 84 lbs I shoot a 2315 arrow at close to 300 fps. Very effective bow.

Traditional

Still use the old stick and string! Browning Recurve quiet and simple.

Althought I did own a PSE Machflight 4 years ago that was modified for Comp. shooting it shot bolts not arrows that sucker was quick of course it would pull about 90lbs on the scale. But one warm day in the extended cab of the truck and a "boom". Tore head liner, seats and a back glass out of the truck so back to something simple. LOL

Cool post great to see what everyone is using these days!

Yeah, coonsman, mine is a Nova. I love that little bow. This will be my first year bow hunting, so I didn't want to get a very expensive one, until I figure out how to use my climbing stand and carry my bow, LOL. Anyways season opened here today, but I have to work, but looking foward to MONDAY!!! WOOHOOO!

I shoot a bowtech tribute and love it. I have shot the new guardian and thought it to way to much effort to break over, mathews makes a good bow too. Once you get into the 599$ plus catagory all the bows are going to be pretty **** equal its all about whats comfortable and suits you. Martin is putting out an extremely fast bow with that 3rd cam involved anybody shot them yet?
