I HAD A WALKER DOG OUT OF YAKIN RIVER CHAMP AND HIS MOTHER, WAS DIRECT OFF OF FLAG. HIS MOTHER'S NAME WAS RIVER BEND DIXIE, HER MOTHER WAS RIVER BEND SALLY, AND HER MOTHER WAS ONE EYED SUSIE. THIS WAS THE BEST COONHOUND, I EVER RAISED, UP FROM A PUP AND TRAINED, INTO A COON DOG. COLD NOSED, OPENED, HERE AND THERE, ON A COLD TRACK. AN ACCURATE, STAY PUT TREE DOG, HAD A CLEAR RINGING CHOP. DID NOT LIKE STRANGERS, AROUND HIS DOG BOX. DIED AT 4 YRS. OF AGE, I STILL MISS THAT DOG, 1990.

I love Flag bred dogs. Unfortunetly the Flag dogs I have were out of an unregistered female, but they are the most bear bitingest dogs around. I love them. I like white walkers and get alot out of this bloodline and most of all, the grit. They run big game great and coon just the same. IMO CAN'T BEAT THEM.

I have a 2 year old off of Wax and a double Buck Creek female, she is the best coon treeing dog i have ever snapped a lead on. I can't count the number of times she has left dogs sitting on blanks and gone on and had the coon. I was hunting her by herself at 11 1/2 months old without an old dog. Good tree dog and a hustler. You can knock a coon out to her pull her off take two steps and cut her and she will dig like she's late for work going hunting. Back on those full moon 16 degree nights I would hunt her till 2 or 3 in the morning and she would just sink in there and get you a coon or a legitimate den. She is consistant with her coon treeing, there hasn't been any up and down spells. This pup has been an absolute blast to hunt!
