Rat does throw alot of tree power but bred to the right female what a dog you will have!! I would rather whoop one for treeing too much than BEG ONE TO TREE if they got tree power in them you can work on the rest but if one wont tree what ya gonna do?!!

I guess what impressed me the most about the Rat dogs is with all their tree power I've never seen a mean treedog out of him. Most sires that throw many real hard treedogs throw several mean males also. Most of the rat dogs I've hunted with had a lot to say on track also.

RAT DEFINITELY PRODUCES THE BEST TREE DOGS GOING REGARDLESS OF WHAT LINES HE'S BRED TO ,BUT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN BREED A SLICK TREEING IDIOT AND COME OUT WITH GOOD PUPS YOU BETTER THINK AGAIN.RAT'S PUPS HAVE PROBABLY EARNED 1.5 MILLION BY NOW I DON'T THINK THAT WILL EVER BE TOPPED AND YOU CAN BET IT WASN'T ALL DONE BY THOSE SLICK TREEING IDIOTS.I HAVE TRIED PUPS OUT OF SOME OF THESE HIGHLY ADVERTISED STUDS AND YOU COULDN'T MAKE THEM LOOK UP A TREE IF THEY WERE HANGING FROM IT.RATS PUPS ARE THE EARLIEST STARTING PUPS I'VE EVER FOOLED WITH.
