Is Mindy showing yet or is it to early to tell? Looking forward to this cross, doubeled up on Dual GR Coon Popper (Jet V x Bobby) don't see any way this cross can't make top hounds.

Tim ... Zeke did something today that I am pretty tickled about ... Today, before I let him out for play time ... I hung up the coon hide just out of his reach ... he could not see me doing this .... when I let him out he romped around a little just like usual ... then ...... after only being out for maybe two minutes ... he found the hide without my help, and treed on it! I calmly taked to him, praised him, let him tree on it for maybe 5 minutes ... then I let him have it and play with it for a little bit ... I realize that a lot of things can change yet, and this certainly doesnt make him a coondog .... but I have to tell ya for being only 18 1/2 weeks old ... thats pretty encouraging!

I might be dreaming but I think Mindy is starting to swell up a bit. Its early, I think we are over 3 weeks out yet but I'm pretty sure she took. I'm going to take Mindy and Katie Friday night and see if we cant stumble upon something to chase up a tree..................Jon

Tim, my little female out of John is already wanting to go hunting every time I go out to the pens to get a dog to take hunting. What really impresses me is, she just doesn't want out to play, she really wants to go hunting. Sherrie has been doing chores for me while I'm on these long hours and she has been letting Robin run loose while she feeds and cleans out the pens. Problem is , Robin is taking off across the road to the timber and hunting on her own. Sherrie said she is tired of chasing her down all over the woods. Robin for sure, has the desire and the mouth, now I have to keep her focused in the right direction. I'll probably start taking her out with the old dog once or twice a week. Going to try and trap a live one to work her on at home too. She is a blast to mess with. .......Roy

Tim we are lookin to make a cross on one of your mad dopg studs. can't decide between Zip and Turk, I love the ped on both and i know if your followin them they are for real. Is there a difference in Stud fee on the or would you be willin to breed for a pup? My female is out of GRNTCH TBOS BLUE STONE COLD owned by Phillip Farrish in WV. she hunts real close with or without company, really independent with a huge huge mouth bawl mouth tree dog. would like to add alot of hunt maybe a little more tree and would love to get some show dogs if at all possible. she should be in any day. let me know what you think. We weren't gonna breed her again until she finished in the hunts, but with all we have to finish this spring we'll prolly go ahead with her 2nd litter.

I have to agree ... seems he understaands this little game! Weather here is finally starting to break. 40's and rain, snow is going down fast. Hoping to run the other dogs next week ... coon are moving, lots of tracks at feeding stations.

Had a real nice NT CH Bullet II bred female brought by last night to be bred to Turk, I will post her ped when he comes back. I have hunted with her and she is a hard hunting real tree dog that will hold all kinds of pressure. I like her enough that I have tried to buy her on a several occasions.........Tim

Hear through the grape vine that you are adding another Night Champion female to your line up. Congrats. we are doing great here, Timmy got his feed truck stuck rolling out hay and it caught on fire, burnt to the ground! He just spent about 3000.00 on it fixing the differential and putting in a new radaitor, tires etc. Life is tuff some times but it goes on.

Just got a call from Guy Houx and Nt Ch little lou is coming in heat and he wants to breed her back to Turk for the second time. He said the reports on the first litter have been unbelievable. The pups that have been fooled with were treeing from 3 1/2 to 4 mos of age. These pups were scattered from Penn. to Ks with some remaining locally. They are good looking big mouthed pups.
