Called DJ and ask him to go hunting but his Fiancee wouldnt let him, hunting takes to much time a way from him spending time with her, Thought about calling Daniel but his Fiancee wont let him hunt anymore either, she thinks it takes to much time a way from him spending time with her, been hunting some with Jimmy and Rick but their Wifes wont let them hunt on Saturday nights, they have to take them to the picture show or out to eat at Golden Corral, My Wife ask if I was going hunting tonight, I told her I wasnt sure, I was tired and would have to go by myself, she said it would not hurt me to go by myself and the dogs needed hunting, she said," aint that big hunt coming up"? I said "yea", she said," then you need to hunt O Stepper or else dont come back complaining if he dont do good", I said," o well, I think Im staying home tonight", her eyes got big and looked like she had a fire in them, she said, " WELL YOU AINT WATCHING NO ALLIGATOR HUNTING MOVIES IN THE LIVING ROOM, " I said you dont care bout how O Stepper does in no hunt, you are just worried about watching Greys Anatomy, I said Im Going hunting. I called Bootie Downs and ask him if I could pull up to the gate and hunt behind his house, he said it would be fine and he was drinking a few and would set on the porch and listen to them tree, I told him I was hunting O Stepper by his self and he dont tree real hard by his self, just stays there, but he had a good mouth and he should be able to hear him. I sent O Stepper toward Monks Creek and he didnt go a 100 yards and set down and treed, I went in there and he had a coon, I patted him up and lead him off, that wasnt much hunting so I sent him on, he went in about a half mile to Monks creek then went left up creek and treed up a little off holler that is rough as a Cobb, I like to never got to him, when I finally did he was looking at me like," Jees, what took you so long"? I told O Stepper , " You just turned 3 and that aint but 21 in human years, when I was that age I would hunt you so hard you would run to the back of the dog house come dark and it would take a hog catcher to get you out", I told him to wait till he got old and fat, that I wasnt going to take it easy on him, I told him when he got old and fat if he didnt get in there and tree a coon fast I was going to put a boot in his rear end, O Stepper got to looking at me like he was going to bite me so I hushed up then changed the subject and told him he done a Fine Job even though I didnt see that coon,but he was up a big cedar and probably had it.
