Seen "Patch" alone last night a few time's!

Got a female here that we are really lookin forward to gettin pup's outa. She is by "Daisy" who was directly outa our old "Dottie" & Sandberg's "Joe" & her father is "Oppy". She will be bred to "Patch" for a lil FAMILY entertainment down the road hopefully !

Why is it that dawg's like her seem to end up in the hands of hide hunter's?? She is a legend in her neighborhood as far as a coondawg & a very very good lookin dog as well.

She look's like one of the pack in the kennel but not a snowball's chance of gettin her bought I don't beleive ! I have booked the litter though....

"PUP'S"...........

The female I mentioned above was bred yesterday to "Patch". Really lookin forward to them arriving!

Talked with Yancy Goodlock the other day & he has a litter of eight pup's outa his Top all Blue female & "Bum".

May have one & maybe two available so if your interested in some heavy "Boomer" bred pup's she has as much behind her as you can find !

I regret not bein able to get her bred to "Patch". Breeding a young male can have some obstacle's & he was afraid of her teeth...."WUS"!

On that note, some of ya'll that been dabblin in the boomer bred stuff coulf ya tell me your experience gettin some of these females bred ? Over the years I've had several around & all where a challenge to get bred.

Just wonderin if'n it's common or I'm just lucky ?

"HEY DUDE"!

My favorite mid size pup fired up day before yestereday early in the morn & took a bad track it seemed to a den tree. That night as I was takin a stroll with me pup's he struck & took a track up over the hill to the junk ditch.

Last night he was workin a track prior to dark that he couldn't handle but he sure did try !!

Him & his sister "Lip's" (Patch X Lady) have got very loud bawl mouth's & extremely sweet personalities !

the "Dude" is gonna be one big boned, good lookin sum beach. As houndy of a pup as I've had the pleasure to raise. He's goin thru the growin gangly teenage type time where he needs to swing wide for corner's & dig deep...LOL!!

Our pup's outa "Sas" & "Patch" are on the loose. First day they disappeared in the timber for well over an hour & have been makin a habit of it since. Some very good actin pup's & as vigorous as any litter I can recall. Very happy with how these "Hybred's" are developing. Good lookin lil devil's as well.Out of a litter raised of five there is gonna be four stayin here for my mid summer/early fall entertainment !

Had'um blowin the top out of an old wood fence post yesterday as I wiggled a small leafy branch above them....LOL!!

I can't seem to make up my mind which of the males I like the best? Might hav'ta close my eye's & just reach in & grab one?

Since there is but one female that won't require a process to pik one. She a fine lil heifer as well. If these pup's don't tree so hard you can't count'um I'll be amazed !

"2011" young gun's in training!

"SAS" & "PATCH" young'uns

I was gonna carry it all back another generation or two to show the influence of such great's as "Boomer", Brush Creek "Blue", Smokey River "Rambler",Jet IV back To the original Northern Blue "Jet",North Star "Buddy", North Star Blu "Star" & a whole butt load of Michigan Blue "Rebel",Hammer "V" on back with some intensely stacked in Hammer "II"top & bottom To name a few.

They might be their own brother's,, sister's,, uncle's, grampa's, grand mother's, neice's, cousin's, nephew's,, great grand mother's, great aunt's,Great great Grampa's & so on but to me it is gratitying just to gander at the collection.

Best I can tell is there is 16 shot's of "Toad" Which mean's the same for "Kate" & "Bruiser,"Boomer","Rambler"10 dose' of "Luke" & 8 of "Spanky" which mean's ten shot's of the original "Jet" & "Hammer V". "David" being out of "Buddy" & "Star" or inbred "Michigan Blue Rebel",half brother & sister gig gives multiple dose' of "Rebel" & "Hammer II".Creatin Some of the absolute best layup dog's that I had the pleasure to witness as a pretty good base not to mention all the one's out of them.

Even better yet, look at the collection of high quality coon treein female's & multiple dose' of a few of them.

I been waitin 30 years to see a pedigree like this plum full of real coondawg's I have followed. Paper's sure 'nuff don't make a dawg but the ancestors within sure 'nuff could ?

"PHOTOGENIC PUP'S"

We been kinda slackin in the picture department havn't we ? I have mountains of them just not tried down loadin them on to this thing yet. New camera & a different gig or I'd be emailing you pictures to post! I'll get it figured out,may be a good day for that since we have one of them all day kinda rain's settin in on us ?

*PUP INQUIRY'S*,

Sorry folks, there is only five & the only one that is leavin the farm is gone to his new home. Other four not goin anywhere with the exception of the one Mr. Craig Shipp own's. He's gona hang around here so's I can mess with'um a bunch when the time comes prior to his relocation to "Bama".

Thank's for the additional interest. We plan to raise only one litter prior to this next fall/winter provided the female holds her end of the deal up. We just skipped three of our ladies heat cycles. Not interested in pumpin out a bunch of pup's just to hav'um.

"DO HAVE" most of the time some young started dawg's runnin loose that I am workin with. Generally only females with the rare male here & there.

I have a pair of dandy's from the "Shiloh" & "Sid" cross, females. They are runnin & treein that we are gona part with. I have three of these & all have big mouth's & extremely eager to learn & go. Great personalities, good 'nuff lookin & just need takin to the timber. They are what I call "BUSY" pup's. They've tasted coon & they like it! Havin a time decidin which one I wana keep though ? They are some outstanding prospects that in the rite hands & some proper guidence "WILL" make Coondawg's! Guessing is done!!

Would like to see these lil Blue Ladies get into the hands of someone that will push'um. They are a special lot. When you have three sister's & their so equal you can't decide which to keep that is a nice problem to have.

Do I keep the purtiest or do I keep the tail dancer ?.......HHHHMMMmmm....

Tom,they are comin 7 months old. $600 is the price this week. Obviously the more I put into them & they progress could make that subject change in due time.

Take very lil added huntin to be huntin them alone rite now. Not afraid of the dark in the slightest & been exposed to everything they can be. They do have a fascination with hangin out by our horse' though. Not chasin but chillin,,,LOL!!

They are fond of "Mules" if that help's ?

"SUP DUDE"

Had a very interesting hunt with my yarddawg's last night. Took "Bum" & "Fancy" & the result's was a split tree 250 yards from the house. Not a biggy but all the pup's pilin on with "Fancy" was.

I have a male & a female outa Boone Brandau's "Lady" & "Patch". They are just short of six months. "LIP'S" & "Dude" where clingin to it & lettin me know they where there. Lil "Carly" was soakin it all up! My lil "Reddawg" was puttin in her 2 cents worth as well.

Two yearling coon "was" hangin on for dear life in this young Walnut tree.

When the time came to bring the festivities to a halt I lead "Bum" & "Fancy" away & the pup's stayed there for a good while. Seen seven stumblin along comin back to the cave just in this lil draw they was in across from the house

Some Grinnin material for me as I waited For Ben & Matt to get back after goin seperate direction's as well. We got nine dogs out for some quality huntin in the high winds & rain.

I heard tell they was gettin snow up north & I wanted to head up there to hunt in it just one more time but I was the only one that seemed that giddy to go....LOL!!!

"Patch" & "Sas" are headed to a hunt tonight. Time for some more wadin among the sea of lil Bludawg's for this chap !

Been havin some fun with my pup's. The lil shaver's outa "Sas" are some go getter's. There was a woodchuck/whistle pig out yonder past the barn on concrete from a not used anymore bunk feeder.

The four seen it & took off after it. Luckily it run off but they dove in the grass lookin for him which made me a weee bit nervous ! A lite touch on the wistle & they came scapperin back just as happy to see me as they did the groundhog.

Can not wait for these to get some leg under them. Had all four treed on a ball of shredded plastic twine they was playin with yesterday & today their tearin around in the rain.

We can take you huntin with three generation's at the present with the younger one's bein just six months old. I have six pup's here outa "Patch" that are all very vigorous, startin early, loud mouth's & some pretty fancy lookers.

The future look's very bright for us with our collection of female's we are workin on to compliment the boy's. Some day we hope to have a few puppy's to share with other's instead of a couple here & there.

We raise few & sell fewer but that's the name of the game keepin Quality & not Quantity in mind for our personal use & goal's. Already more litter's injected into our breed with no regard to the above mentioned spec's than there should be.We are hoping for one litter this summer if it work's out rite & no other's till this upcoming winter.

Have purchased some female pup's from other's to rear & if all goes well we may have some outcross' to utilize. All our female's have been raised here & most born here. I prefer to get them as lil pup's & watch them develop. There is no better way to inflict new blood into your's than goin this route & knowing what they are & how thing's came together.

Just our prefered route "Lookin down the Road with Both eye's Open"..............
