..Ivan Treed on a Wombat Somewhere High A Top A Mountain..

Hi guys see things are good for some in the stud dog world & Treeing Coon in South Carolina looking good Terra !

Lady Notice how Fluffo puts his looks into his pups & some of the local coonhunters here have Really took a liking to Lady ! RJ - Rich & Rock Really likes the way she operates also !!! Rock I would say this new dog of yours will put u on Top ! Good Luck with him !

Until this past Fri I have been 20 nights without treeing a raccoon or a tree with the hounds I hunt but Honest Ivan treed a triple Fri nite - I will say I will go crazy if I have to go that long again with out a coon or den/pine or even a good old Emptie - Not much fun when you get nothing at all ! Now Ivan did get plenty of running I would say at least 100 miles in those 20 nites !

The video above will show you how to come down a mountain in the snow & I will say it was TUFF going Fri nite but worth every step music to the ears getting to hear a dog run & tree again !

Hi Jimmy those are some nice pups but you may want to breed to Fluffo & get yourself some dual purpose pups !

RJ that dang pup looks alot more like Fluffo then me !!!

Ivan had a good Battle with coon above A Good Night it was warm atleast 35 - 40 degrees until tree above wind & cold set in
2 degrees in Wellsboro right now !

Fri---- p.k.c. got in - came home loaded 2, 2dens 1 coon
Sat. temp fell out to 17 dens.
sun 22 2dens 1 coon

FLUFFO will put the looks in a hound. Most hunters want females out of him----their looks not only distracts hunters but male dogs too.

Rock is getting several replies 800p.m.'s the first 3 days. To show what kind of fellow he is he has dropped FLUFFO'S stud fee to 200.00 he said he don't need the money and he knows he'll have a healthy retirement on the amount of females FLUFFO will breed!!!!!!!!

WAMBATS--- a real critter getter!!!!!!

Rock has been talking to Mr. Hall on partnership on Fluffo. Barry claimes this is what he has been looking for all his life. Says it is the final chapter in his story. Now on to Fluffo he has been in Pa for some time not many people have seen him. I got a look at him when he was a pup and he just keeps getting nicer looking. He is quad show champion in fact people protested and won so Rock can no longer show him on the bench. He puts this into his pups as seen on previous pics. Onto treeing coon, Barry made mention on the walmart thing. Well I seen Rock let a coon go 3 days ahead of this dog and he still struck right from the turn loose spot. Oh did I mention there was 8 ft. of snow in the mean time. I have been discussing breeding my hamster to fluffo believe this will be the cross of the future

Hi Barry I think us guys up here are going Crazy look at the things we are writing about lol You going Crazy RJ lol With this weather it is going to get even more depressing another snow storm may hit tonight - Who knows what we will be writing about in another week - It will probly not have much to do with coonhunting lol Roaded the dogs a few miles & rigged 20 miles & Nothing to be got - did run into Scott & Fred last nite Scotts dogs run something high into the mountain at Ives Run had a wombat lol Scott has some good cat & bear hounds he will shock a dog for treeing coon ! Rich & I are headed to Freds to build benches for our 5 UKC Nite hunts & Bench shows we plan on having this year !

RJ I will try to be at the bench show the Male is a little heavy but when this weather brakes lets get out I need to see if i need to get another hound to keep up wjth you guys It was a good hunt the other night but cold -2 when we got back in lots of BS but fun Tom do you need any lumber for the benches give me a call can help out with that stay warm all

It appears that rock has came up with the supperior hound. I have switched to redbones and i thought that was a big step from black and tans, but i am telling you this thing could prob go to the world hunt.

Tom, here's a video of Blade treeing we tried hunting about an hour before day break we treed twice this is the last tree both were den's.

Hi Bill we got them benches built just have putting the carpet on top & a little leveling of the legs left lol that Rich & John were slave drivers working with them but Joe & I handled it lol Benches turned out good ! Let the show begin !!!

Hi Terra , Great seeing a video of Blade ! Sure looks like you guys are having a good season ! The coon hunting is about shot here now got more snow & is cold but the breeding season is starting up here may be able to catch a boar coon out on these bad nites !

I took Blade out for an early morning hunt again.I turned him loose about an hour and a half before day break, he treed twice I could not find the first one but I found the second one. The second coon was in a hollow but made the mistake of peeking out, when I shot him he died before coming all the way out of the hollow so me and Blade made the 45 minute drive back home to get the chainsaw needless to say Blade got his coon!

To me when the coon gets to his den tree, he wins, and I will leave him to run again next time. The hides are not worth that much any way, but to go and cut the den tree down is exetreme. It's bad enough you see too many cut for firewood left laying on the ground once they see they are hollow.

will not cut a den tree dowen becals that is the coons home and we dont have enuff den trees as it is.that picter looks bad on all of us so please dont post that no more it will give the younger kids the wrong idea of how to take care of the coon

Hi Terra heres a pict of Blade & Ivan Treed Somewhere close to OutBack Don's & Well House Rock's BackYard in Sept 2007 Blade taught Ivan alot Ivan was just a yr old in this pict he had his 1st coon shot out to him with Blade at 3 months old ! Now I will say I have cut a couple trees down for coon but not quite that big lol A nice clean cut on that tree & Keep them picts & videos comming ! Looking Good !

Well I can honestly say I have never went that far as to cut a tree down but then again i would if my dogs ever left my feet and treed one. lol

Tom I have a roll of carpet for your benches If you come up sat night remind me I will get it to ya. talked to fred he will be at our club on the 22 for the bench show. We will have a pretty good turn out from the sounds of it.

Bill do not be afraid to show that heavy male. i talked to tom and he is going to show rich. lol

This is for all the tree hugger's, Blade trailed that coon for a half hour in drizzling rain it had been raining all night then treed. now when I got to the tree the coon was sticking his head out the hollow so I shot him ,he came half way out and died. Now either the coon died for nothing or the tree dies, I chose to let the tree die because Blade deserved the coon he worked so hard for. I dont cut down every den tree this is the first one and I have been coon hunting for 30 yrs, but if the same type thing happens tonight I would do it all over again! Remember the next time you write a letter a tree died so you could have the paper.
