Possum Cops came down and walked over area, wanted us to get it surveyed. Bottom line we cannot due to costs $2,000 and they have not returned my E-mails or Calls. We effectively showed lines in my thinking and will go from there. When I get info we will let you know.
I have heard some land owners getting paid. That is the rumor.
Update on Jack just got his leg x-rayed at Barnes, he is doing good, X-ray it every 6 weeks and it is starting to heal. 3 month of only light walking. They cut out much more that tumor so it would not come back. Packed with bone chips and bone powder. Low pain level now so all is good. Maybe now i will feel like hunting.

Got part of the trees at club cut down,will cut the rest when ground freezes back up. Now that your gettin' Jack on the mend,you can start on yourself.
We gave then a copy of deed at the time when we walked over it. They have legal description and we are talking a few thousand dollars of stolen trees. Cost to survey, 1 estimate $2500, another was $1500 to $2000. Will be talking to Larry and will give 2 days still if here nothing we will move further on. Thank you for your advice I have never encountered anything of this nature before.

I had this happen to neibor south of greenup bought thirty acre of land locked property dirt cheap because it had twenty acres of prime white oaks on it. Well he went to deer hunt it and found every tree gone even the one his stand was in. There was even a noticeable fence dividing property. Went and talked naibor found out name of logging company hired lawery went through all the hoops after six months of local goverment & law BS he gave it was costing him more than trees were worth.....Know i hope it goes the other way for the club that ground and timber is a valued asset to the club. Tony and I showed officers where it was cut between trees and partially tore out. It is not right that these things can happen and people get paid for stolen property. We have who cut it, where it went and all. Law has all that info. Good to see you back Gut, hope all is going well.
It is quite a bit of money they took from the club. Hope you are doing well. Its been a wasted year for me this year will have to hunt more next year...LOL How many wins you got on that dog now?

I am going to contact the adjacent landowner tomorrow to see if they know where the property line is and if they agree with you about the line. I spoke with the forester and as soon as we are comfortable with the line, he will be out to do a stump audit. This is going to take time as I am working with other landowners as well who have not been paid. Thank you for your patience
I now have her cell number and asked a series of questions via E-mail as she prefers that, hopefully this will be resolved. Failing to communicate is not something I care for. If the Officer want to communicate via e-mail that is fine but I want answers to the clubs questions.
The only Timber management we have is to cut the junk with got us a tax break. We have talked to them and their is nothing they can do. We are at liberty to do whatever we want with our timber.
We will have a meeting in near future I have been very busy with my son surgery and recovery down at Barnes was there monday and tuesday of this week. I try the best I can right now, my apologies if I have let anybody down.
Mr. Shellabarger has been a great help during this business and has spent several hours doing multiple things for the club.
We have the broken big tree ( By Club house) cut down now and is ready to be cut up for club firewood or if a member needs some.
