Being old & blind doesn't mean she can't follow her nose. She gets after coon or possum like no other. Birds never interest her. She had an adventure today but I'll start a thread later in the blue tick forum.

Right now it is a beautiful night out, I'm tending the grill, watching hubby bean hook weeds out of the fencerows, sipping a hard cider with the dogs crashed around the yard. We're all sore & wore out.

AppBlue, Sorry to read about ur friend and ur grandmother. Hope she'll be ok.

Busy wkend here: took Dandy to his first bench show yesterday, rode Jas in a trail challenge today, then came home and went to play euchre with friends...lost 2 out of 3 Hope to take Dandy to another bench show tomorrow.

Appblue hate to here the sad news prayers up but your right it is hot out Samantha was so hot tonight on the tree she was laying stretched out treeing but still a hammering Storm was so hot she had just about stopped barking and Avalon well not quite 8 months old she is just busy all the time most of the time not doing what she is supposed to be doing

Dang it's hot and miserable I think the dogs are worn out even Avolon has decided it's to hot to play but coons were a walking tonight least ways on Alum Ridge they were last tree we made was a section that had been timbered it's was a tough journey threw the briars tree laps and such but the berrys are ripe and that's were the coons are beside the one they had treed I saw 3 setting up I often wonder when wading threw a mess like that how many copperheads I am crawling over oh well it's supposed to get hotter all week I may just give the dogs a break

Nope don't carry no water better get what they want out of a branch somewhere most of the times water is not an issue all the main hollows have water some dry ridge's sometimes are a issue but the smart ones know where the water is and will get them a drink got minused some years back with Aurora she took a track and got deep one hot humid night we had to go to the other hounds slick tree first by the time we got to them and minused them and got back to were we could here her it had been treed over and hour we had a long walk to she was on the top across the main hollow on our way to she shut up a guy in the cast said she has quit I said no put the two on her she has gone to get water she will be back the 2 got here but she went back took 125 minus but got it back when she went back but I only got a 100 plus on that one but it didn't matter we were way ahead anyway I have saw her on many of a hot night and no water around close lick the dew off the grass she is one of my favorites even though Lyndell wanted me to shoot her

Dandy was the only Redbone so he won class and breed. We put him in the FT on Sunday, but he, like us...didn't have a clue Had a nice time and it was something different for us to try.
Played euchre again with friends last night. Chuck and I won the best 2 out of 3, but decided to keep playing and lost 3 out of 5.
Checked camera cards today, the 10 pt and 8 pt and a couple of little bucks r still around. Keep seeing does in the orchard with no fawns. Kind of sad seeing 1/2 doz doe without fawns. Have to wonder why they didn't get bred or carry them or if we have something around that killed the fawns when they were born. Chuck did find part of one by the fox den early this spring.

Well doc told the family that they found cancer on her kidney or liver cant member. Gave her 3 weeks til 3 months. Tryin to decide how to tell her or even tell her at all.

Rob, I think I see two eyes in the one picture...this phone always makes things darker.
I read an article in the PA Game News that said bears killed more fawms than coyotes. We have both passing through.
