Right in the middle of an awful but typical night of Tn coonhunting, Jared sent me a video and text to let me know that he made 6 trees with 10 coons and was back at his house. My dogs caught a skunk; put something in a hole; I caught them off a track 3 times crossing a road and headed towards houses; made a huge oak circle tree and finally had a coon at 2 am. I walked about 2 miles. I thought that I was in a sauna. It was so hot and humid steam was coming off the ground. It looked like fog but it was so hot it felt like steam.

Jared and I made 10 trees last night. We also saw 3 coons crossing the road while hunting and then I saw 5 more coons crossing the road on my way back to camp. Y'all don't know just how good you have it.
Jared's dad, Keith calls this "The Love Shack". And he gets a faraway look in his eye every time he says it. I wonder what is up with that.
