Thanks Roy! Pups are acting like pups right now. We have the two Jet V pups running loose down south at a friends for a few months and planning on bringing them back home in Feb. and start hunting them. They were running a drag pretty good at 4 1/2 months old and treeing little. Never waited this long to start hunting them at night but was going to give it a try, they will be 7 months old end of Jan.. Hope you and your young hounds are having a good season!

Well we went for a short hunt tonight and took Bounce he went 2 for 3 and looked pretty nice. For being flooded as we are right now with all the water.

Well we are trying our luck tonight on New Years Eve with a couple young ones, one Blue and one Holstein! So far Bounce has made three trees, one den one should have been and one big bore on the outside, working a little on the should have beens! LOL!. Coons seem to be running a little better the last few nights. Old bores are swelled and stinking.

We took the young ones again tonight. We took Bounce and Ike (7) months old Holstien. We made three dumps and made three trees. First one ran about 550 yards and treed a den, nice little chase and Ike ran and Treed pretty darn good on it. Next dump we treed but it was blank, third and final dump we treed and had a coon after about a 650 yard run. Ike is just about to figure it out. Ike trees on some sitting down and once in a while he will even get on the wood and yes I do give him a little encouragement! LOL! Bounce is doing his best with him!

Dual Grand Super Blue Riptide is a 2016 performance Sire. If there is any interest in Super Staking the litters that too can happen. Riptide is 4 years old and to stay around here that long they have to do something right!

Well we started our planning early this year and have reserved our motel for 2016 Bluetick Days in Batesville Mississippi. Wanted to get close to the grounds and leave early that week and have a little R&R. Going to use some of my vacation days to hunt Blue dogs! LOL! Have not hunted the area but have heard many good things about the area and facilities they have to offer. Bringing one or two common Blue Dogs and try our luck as we will need it.

Good old Ohio River Bottoms, not what it use to be but still a few to get treed. Cutting just about everything they can so better hunt while it is still around to hunt. Strips and clear cut is just about all that is left expect for a few area's.

Trip gone South! Really South!

Well it looks like our trip plans for heading south is coming to and end. They are calling for 8 to 14 inches right in the middle of the trip we had planned starting tomorrow. Looks like we may get 4 to 6 here at home and through the middle of our trip they are still going to be getting 6 to 8 as well. It could not hold off for a couple more weeks!

Once again the season is wrapping up. Doesn't make much difference as we enjoy hunting the spring especially when you are hunting the young ones. Really looking forward to this spring and kitten time as we have a few young ones to hunt this year and hoping for at least one special one, but then again who doesn't? LOL!

I have added a couple pictures, one of Mr. ED and the other Boss Hog. They are only 7 months old but have a good feeling on these. If they progress like I want we will get them in both the PKC puppy stakes and the UKC young guns at Bluetick days this year. We have a few more months and hoping the weather keeps heading the right direction. Like hunting young ones if they perform! Not much on the show side but look better doing the other!

Well we took Bounce and the 2 pups out for a hunt tonight turned the pups loose 2 dumps they opened on track and tapped a couple trees but never locked down a tree. We was in some swamps, it was a nice learning experience for the pups as they hunted real good and try hard just couldn't figure them out all the way tonight. After that I turned bounce loose for 2 dumps and he made 3 trees. He had 1 coon and 2 huge den trees and we decided to call it a night.

Took Bounce and Mr. Ed tonight and made four dumps and four trees. One we hit and ran about 550 yards and treed in a field tile in a large corn field, one that should have been but was not and it was about 750 yards and two trees with coons, both around 300 to 350 yards so not too much walking tonight! Bounce did a nice job on the one in back water from the lake spill way and had a big boy! Mr. Ed did alright on two of them, long ways to go yet.
