Cameron, that makes two of us, my male is a gamie little sucker and will chop every breath, I can't wait, another 4 months or so and they will be developed enough to get around the timber pretty good , IMO ? A pup needs the physical capability to finish what they start before they are put in wood, good luck with her and keep us posted as she progresses , she was a great acting pup and I believe Will make you a nice hound....Gerald

She will be an every breath chop mouth tree dog to at least she is in the kennel when she sees a cat still haven't been able to get rid of all the sores yet but what Paul thought was a hernia the vet said was swollen gland and it is about gone and so far she is not afraid of Aney thing

That's good to here, she may have gotten a mite I had bought some hay and put in their house when they were 5 weeks or so the hay may have had mites slinger had a few that developed on his ears and I put burnt motor oil on him out of my truck when I changed oil and he cleard up fine, you can tell when pups have that extra drive that shows up early and there's no doubt that they are going to get it on, these pups have that, I told everyone that the cross had every thing it needed to produce cooner,s, I still predict the cross will result in some top winning hounds, not very often does every pup in a litter finish in the hunts, watch this litter go the distance, I got them in great hands with guys that can and will put the timber time in them and that is one of the hard parts of success with a litter, these pups have the traits and are in hands of coon hunters, watch what happens....Gerald

Slinger has been running losse hear at the house, he goes off into the woods by himself and explores the creeks, this morning I heard him open and then tree, I went and checked him out he was running arounnd back and forth from a bush to an oak tree winding and treeing up, I finally spotted a cat squirrel in the oak, a good sign, high hopes for this pup....Gerald

Was bred sat the 24th, had a great time hanging out with the Maddog scientist, and even did a little hunting both nights, I was glad Tim got out with us, Yoi could tell he was tired , but being Tim he just don't quiet pushing himself, Paul was crazy as always and I lost .50cents on two nets to him, gunning for him now though......Gerald

Had a good hunt tonight with Jude, took the old girl out for a drop just at dark, working her back into shape after winning pups a couple weeks ago, she hit one at a pond and move it in the timber about 600 yards and treed, she had the coon in a pine tree, found him looking on the way in to the tree, about the easiest coon I have ever found in a pine, caint shoot coons here in Ar. Until July so I didn't take a young dog along, but I have a couple of youngsters that will be getting lots of timber time soon.....Gerald

Pr" MadDog Two Gun Slinger (John II X Shelly)

Slinger is 7 months old now, He has running losse hear and has been treeing squirrels in the woods around the house, he has solid loud chop on tree, about time to put the youngster up and start taking him to the timber with one of the old dogs, he's ready, watch for this pup soon, I believe he going to make an entrence pretty strong......Gerald
