Hi Matt, Good luck with your knee surgery. I hope it goes well for you and the recovery time is short. I am gettin along pretty good. I havent been in the wheel chair for 3 days now . Just talked to Matt a little while ago.He sounds like he's in good spirits and itching to get back in the timber.I couldn't tell if he just took one of his pain pills,or was wound up from the throttling Peyton Manning dished out tonight,but he sounded like he was feeling good either way.He sure likes his Colts.LOL.
Matt,get with me in a couple days,we'll load you up in the hunting buggy.I could use a good road manager.Legend,Kidd,and Sidewinder are all wanting to get out,but waiting on the fog to lift.Zach is coming up one night this week I think so I'll get ahold of you and let you know what night.If you are feeling like getting out of the house for a drop or two and the kennel manager gives the OK,I'll come and get you.

The doc found a few more things then he thought and cleaned my knee. the surgery was twice as long as we thought it was going to be,it`s over with now.your right Tom Peyton and the Colts looked good the take aways sure did help.they don`t have the best ground game.getting closer to the end for them.watch out for the jets their hot.
I didn`t get the the walker dog transplant but he sure could have done any other transplant he wanted to I was out like right now.
The main thing right is to give it time to heal up so i don`t tear anything again.coon hunting is hard on us stepping in holes.
Jay I`m planning on hunting at Ashland if I can get my hounds ready in time.I have Big Country and Powder both are out of Stinger and looked good and solid when I stopped hunting them.

I`ll try to get out this week.I need to get my knee healthy and back to work.I`m really excited about going into the hunts this spring a couple of bumps in the road may slow me down but i`ll still get their.

I sold this pup around new years and Ted called and said he treed a squirrel the first time he walked him in the woods yesterday.I just wanted to share this with everybody how natural this line of hounds are and I had this same pup on here for a couple weeks and a bunch of tire kickers called about him.well all I can say another satisfied hunter with another mosquito creek hound.Ted Thanks for getting Smoke from me and I`m gald he`s only a few miles away.I`ve always bred naturals to naturals and it really paying off now.Thanks Guys!

My son took Country and Powder out monday night and they treed one big coon and one big possum and one den. its the first time he had coon hunted in ten years at least.He loves the way Powder trees.I use to drag him to hunts with me all the time.He did good handling the hounds.he wants to take Powder again tonight ,he said Country was all business and can get the job done in a hurry.I`m gonna try to sit in the truck tonight.Its hard sitting but at least I`ll get to hear my hounds and that crack of the 22.I can`t wait !

Matt,got out for a while last night with Kidd.Planning on hunting him at Greenville tomorrow night.He looked real good,we treed several doubles.dogs were under ten coon.Mike stumbled onto what looks to be a pretty nice walker female.If you want to go to the club tomorrow night give me a call and I'll pick you up on the way.
Talked to Zach yesterday and he is also bringing Woody up and hunt and going to pick up his Legend pup.

I went to the greenville club tonight,had a good time visiting with everybody,my knee is doing ok but has along way to go.
Zack picked up his Legend and Super fly pup.I could have sold her three times tonight she is a nice female and Zack i`m glad you have her,i can`t wait to get to hunt with her in 8 months from now double Mailes Sue should be double trouble in the hunts and she already has a good bawl mouth locate and turn it over to a good steady chop.i have a coulple young ones left if anybody is interested give me a call.

My knee is coming along good.I`m not able to get in the woods or walk on uneven ground.It still has some swelling I`ve been doing my stretches.I`m looking to be back to work in march.i`ll try to get back in touch with you guys who called today.everything is looking up here.

hi matt i'm happy to hear your recovering. just don't go over doing it when you start feeling better. the hounds are all doing good. we just waiting for the weather to break. last week it rained. now the weather man is calling for 10-20 below zero for the rest of the week. the snow crust is as bad as i've seen it for a long time. hard on the dogs feet. i rabbit hunted a couple weeks ago with my friend dave, didn't take long for the beagles feet to bleed. my nephew showed me a picture of a bear in their yard last week. kinda unusual for them to be out this time of year. best wishes dennis

I know it turned cold here to.I just came in from fooling with my pups with a coon hide they all showed interest the smaller male I have out of Legend and Super Fly sure took a hold of it and when I put it on the kennel they sure was barking and smelling for it.I don`t fool to much with them but I`m just getting a little bored.I have the nicest pups here that I have had in a long time.I wish I had two brothers that liked to hunt man we would be set up.at least my son has taken a interest back in the sport.I need to take him to a few hunts and get him back into knowing the rules.take care.............Matt
