WB. I just ran out of hot pepper jelly. I make pbj with it for lunch when I'm riding. Yummy. Nice pictures, the laurel here is almost over.
Camped in the ANF this wkend with my friend, Deb. I took Jas and Dandy. Dandy seemed to really enjoy his first camping trip. I rode 11 hrs so he got his exercise, he had to swim in Tionesta Crk.
While I was gone, Chuck ckd the trail camera and said the big buck was in again. He said he thinks it will be a 10 pt.
We rode the HD to Kinzua bridge yesterday when I got home from camping to stay cool. They couldn't afford to repair the bridge when the tornado knocked part of it down. So they made it a Skywalk now they're spending r tax $ for a visitor center. I'm sure it will be beautiful, just like the one at Benezette for elk viewing, but I don't see how the WILDS in PA can stay wild when bldgs and paved parking lots are being built.
Got a ck from the NAFA, the rest of r fur sold for $76.20, but by the time they took commission, dues, etc...we got what was left $31.66. R coon avgd $2.02. $5.00 for the highest, 25 cents for the lowest. East North Central coon (Think that's us) Avgd $4.35. We got $7.00 for a coyote, r red fox avgd $6.75, highest $10 lowest. $4.00. we had one muskrat, got $1.70 for it. Newsletter said 340,000 raccoon
sold 100% at disappointing prices, but the 100% clearance levels clearly demonstrate that there is potential for improvement in the future. It's a good thing, we just enjoy listening to the dog run and tree and can do it close to home because hides don't even pay for gas $.
