I wished Cal would get back to the full platooning. Seemed to play better defense when they do.

It's funny how Hoosier is talking about about how bad the SEC is when even Dicky V was talking about how actually good the SEC is and how Joe Lunardi had 6 teams in from the SEC now. Hoosier daddy now?

He has to say things like that so he doesn't seem so ACC biased. I will give UK credit they haven't loss yet an that is a big acomplishment. But I honestly think this team will not make the Elite 8. Maybe Sweet 16.

who knows its just a game!! If they don't get back to there defensive ways they may get.put out first round!! But Cal usually has his teams clicking by march!

We lost Noel to to acl 2 years ago... Lost WCS last year during tourny... This year we lost our starting Sf, sg.. Alex P. to acl and 2nd platoon SF has been out with flu.... Hard to platoon with 2 all americans out!!!! But dont matter we still gonna win them all.... How? Coach Cal is best coach in history with freshmen!!!! Bill Self had 2 top 5 picks last year and barley beat Eastern Kentucky U.... Coach Cal woulda had that team in final 4....Its Undeniable that coach K is best to ever coach college ball and its also undeniable that coach Cal is best to ever recurit and coach freshmen...go cats...

I would venture to say that Nova has better all around defense and definatley better on ball pressure. It doesn't take to much talent to be 6'10-7' and stop shooters in the lane. Of course they are going to be hard to score against when they are all giants. UK has just as much trouble scoring against a good defense.

Nova 2 toughest games of the year coming up @ Providence and @ Butler. Lets see how the Wildcats fare.

your the first person in the country that has said this ky team doesn't have the best defense in the nation. Have you fell and bumped your head. No way nova has better d then ky. No way.

Just because your tall doesn't mean you can play ball. We had a 6'9", 6'7", 2 6'6", 6'5" and Couple more 6 footers on my sophomore year basketball team, all white boys lol. We were predicted to go to the state, maybe even win it. Got beat the first round, didn't even make it to the tournament. Got out played and outcoached. When you have a 6'9" guy shooting 3,s in high school, somethings wrong.

Nova sure played well @ Providence last night. Now have to play at the hottest team in Americas house Saturday. @ Butler

Ochefu had a great game last night he dominated the Fryers and Nova was giving up no easy baskets. The defense Nova plays is sworming and you will not beat them off the dribble.

Helps when they were playing the worst major conference basketball team in the country. South Carolina and Frank Martin are an embarrassment to college basketball. I enjoy watching them get killed because Frank Martin is a leunetic.

You guys see the difference in playing in a good conference opposed to a bad one? Nova is playing @ Butler today why you played South Carolina. Nova has to play at places like GTOWN and Xavier while UK gets to play teams like Vandy and Mississippi State.

I will say this again. UK is a good team not a great one. They are benefiting from playing in a horrible conference. Put them in the ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big 10 and they have 3 or 4 losses. You can't hide in the SEC much longer.

If they aren't a great team then why does every sports caster, announcer, and media personal say they are ? I guess they people like dicky v and jay b. don't really know college basketball. I meanwhat do they know.

Don't let it bother you what I put on here. Hey it's your team and you should speak up for them. If you think they are the best then that's all that matters. I don't think they can beat a good team with a good defense. That's why I don't think they are a great team. Unfortunatly when is the last time they played a good defensive team that can score?

How will they fare against a Gonzaga, Wisconsin, Nova, Duke, Virginia?

See these teams play in real conferences with exception of Gonzaga. UK has a top defense no doubt. But they have a sup par offense when they play a real defense.

Put UK in any conference u wish and they would still be undefeated. Even dick v said the SEC is better than people think.
