Tonto was originally from Arkansas. A man named Danny D. on the board raised him from a pup and finished him to nitech. His kennel name was frog creek. You may know him. I never thought of that. Lance

This is the Tonto x Glo 911 cross. They are 8 weeks old and is the
first time they saw a coon tail with coon scent. Played for about a hour.

Wendall Higginbotham came by to pick up his pup today. He lives north of Birmingham, Al. I am really excited to get to watch this pup progress. I know several in his area that will be following the pup too. The door is open. I am confident the blood will perform. Thanks to the experienced mad dog breeders that help me put this litter together.

The other pups are going to: KS, WI, WI, Al.

I got a report from Mark Brockman in KY yesterday. He has a pup out of the Tonto x Jane cross that he really likes. He sent pics and she is a looker. Her name is Brockman's Remington Clover (Remi). He has had several offers from others to buy her. He seems really happy with her. He is going to keep me posted in the future. We will post a pic of her soon.

Most of us pleasure hunted Thursday night. The dogs could handle the Thursday night hunt but after driving all night and so far the handelers need rest for the rest of the week. We were pleased with the end results and probably should have hunted Thursday night. Oh well hindsight decisions.

We are so proud of Toby. He raced all those registered heats in the water race on the longest pond I have been around. Then won the overall race by the skin of his teeth. I think he had to race 5 times. Then he pulled out the cast win Saturday night and was 25 points away from placing in nitech.

That is a testimony to the kind of drive these hounds have in them.

Toby is out of the Quad Grand Mad Dog Psycho Sid x Quad Grand Remington cross Robbie Brooks and Toney Poole made two years ago.

That is just one small part of the teams accomplishments this weekend. Gerald it sure sounds like you did your part.

That was an excitin race. Tobys got a lot of heart cause I know he had to be tired from the races before, but gave it 110 to win king. Congrats on yout cast win. It was nice to meet u guys in person finally, and thanks for all the support, advice, and help. Your family is top notch...... Timmy C

Thanks. I hunted with Roy and Robin both nights. We had a dead cast friday and Robin looked good saturday. Her and Cuda were in it right until the last tick of the clock. The other guy took a couple of chances that didnt pay off in the end. It was a great cast with nice hounds that gave there all until the last tick. Toby was just fortunate to have 25 more points than Robin and 50 more than Cuda in the end. We all had a blast and saw some examples of good hound work. Timmy Clifton (AKA Timmy Vaughn Jr.) I really enjoyed all the quality time I got to spend with your Dad riding to and from the hunts. It was just a fun weekend overall. Lance

We enjoyed meeting many and putting names to faces. Met several from our zone that love blues as much as we do. It was a great time and good fellowship. The sportsmanship was unmatched. Toby won despite my handling skills. That was my first cast win at a major event. I have certainly taken my licks in the past
