My dad is doing pretty good. He fools with horses now. He goes to the woods with me on occasion and still hunts deer a little. He just keeps busy. Boy that was awhile ago when he was president of BBOA. Brings back alot of memories. Dad was with me and my son the minute that Coleton killed that buck this year. It was pretty special that all three of us were there when he made the shot.

is great Bob. Next time you talk to him ask him if he remembers me. It's been a long time ago... I wish my dad was still alive to see my kids. He past away in 83 when my oldest was a few months old. Be thankful for the things both large and small....

Yes sir, I will ask him he has a good memory, sometimes I think it is better than mine. His dad ( my grandfather ) is still here with us to. Dad remembers coon hunting with him, he was out of it when I started. That would make a good picture with the four generations of coon hunters. Yes life is to prescious not to take every minute for as long as you can.

anybody looking to breed to a nice heavy vaughn blooded male, let me know as i have coolwater blue boomer II here just waiting for a new girlfriend.his pedigree can be found in this thread.i have a litter due next week out of him and my vaughns polly II gyp that should be a very nice cross.i have several other well bred gyps that will be bred to him this year(hopefully).

Ken G. Is right, Henry must throw loud pups because daisy has a real loud loooong bawl! I absolutly love the sound of it. I have been told she has a100lb mouth on a 60 lb dog! Kate is coming along nicely started opening on a track and treed some with Daisy Monday night. I am tickled to death with there progress. Thanks to folks like Ken Adkins for keeping this line around.

Ken Fisher sounds like Daisy might like a date with Boomer in the future.

Henry III broke a leg when he was a young dog and was never hunted after that. He would run and tree when he was five months old. He got his leg caught in the tailgate of a pick up truck. The legg healed back but there was always a knot on it. I did take him out around the house some after that just for exercise. He threw some real treedogs.... He also marked his pups. You can still see that color and confirmation in his great grand pups.... The BIG mouth also....

Henry V (Hank) is the tightest line bred dog of my breeding program. It is proving to work..... I may go for an outcross for number 6.....

i will get a pic of polly up soon.she is light colored but one heck of a good coondog!when you turn her loose she is all business and trees some tough coon. i didnt own ruby.im not sure if roy or ken had her or just who it was.

I agree with Ken F on breeding to Boomer II. He has a good pedigree. He will put as much old Vaughn blood in the pups a most males that are still around. He also puts the big bawl voice in his pups.
