Its no fun constant pain,part of getting old I guess.I`ve been moving a few hounds today,still have a couple females out of Stinger that I was gonna keep to breed to Tree Daddy.we don`t have much snow on the ground just cold like everybody else.Take Care.I`ll try and come with Tom when he brings Kidd back.

I may need Tree Daddy to start my two young pups with.I`ve been thinking about moving Dan he is out of Roberts Welch`s Wendy female he barked at the only coonskin I showed him, he is just turning 5 months old.not spoiled in any way.just right to start this spring.

Hows it going?I `m doing alright here it looks like I tore the lateral and medial meniscus for sure. I go in next week to see a surgeon.


Smokey River Spud was out of Dry Fork Spud and his dam was Smokey River DTS Mandy,now Nitch Smokey River blue Be's Jean her sire is GRNITE CH GRCH` SEXTON`S BLUE JIMMY AND NITE CH SMOKEY RIVER JBELLS BE.alot of good hounds and on back and still reproducing good ones.can`t really go wrong with these hounds in a pedigree. I have a appointment for tueday with the surgeon.my family members have used him for years and even some doctors use him.this is a big for me I haven`t been to the Doc for close to 10 years.

All my hounds are doing good.I have a couple left out of Legend and Lou .these are nice pups act real outgoing.I will be going down I-75 some time this week,it would be a grat time to get one of these pups I have one male and one female left.
I talk to my surgeon tuesday to see what happens to my knee.a total of six different things showed up.three are tears.i feel this is the best time to get my knee repaired the best we can.I need to get back to work and in the timber.so if anybody is looking to add more smokey river into their line i have a few young hounds, female`s I`m gonna part with I will throw in a breeding to Tree Daddy on each one.
A good friend of mine has a female out of Stinger and Cookie that is really shinning,she was in on two cats this weekend and did really good on bear earlier.she is a real lock down tree dog she has treed some coon.Dave told me she leads most races ,this is music to my ears.good luck hunting.

Hounds are doing good in the cold.were looking forward to this warm up.i just came in from feeding. another cold night.when i go out and feed them they sure look forward to the warm food.
my knee is sure sore after the doc. twisted and turned it a few times.I get to call today to set up a time to get my knee worked on.

I knew you were raising them,I kept a male out of that cross and my friend Sam Paul has him he is a nice male has a real mouth on him.Toby is a real tree dog that litter had a rough start with the female having a c section and not raiising the litter,good thing chris`s beagle raised them for him.Stinger has sired some nice hounds.What I like about stinger`s offspring they seem to be real balanced and have cold noses on them.just like any hound the more their exposed the better they get.keep me informed how she progress`s.good luck with her.
