Exclamation

I always have luck at the casino, unfortunately it's usually BAD! Still nothing going on around here. It froze a couple of nights ago so we probably won't get cherries, plums or peaches, those tress were all in blossom. Apples aren't out yet, but last yr we had two late frosts around Memorial Day and didn't get many.

No one believes seniors . . . everyone thinks they are senile.

An elderly couple was celebrating their sixtieth anniversary. The couple had married as childhood sweethearts and had moved back to their old neighborhood after they retired. Holding hands, they walked back to their old school. It was not locked, so they entered, and found the old desk they'd shared, where Jerry had carved I love you, Sally.

On their way back home, a bag of money fell out of an armored car, practically landing at their feet. Sally quickly picked it up and, not sure what to do with it, they took it home. There, she counted the money - fifty thousand dollars!

Jerry said, "We've got to give it back."

Sally said, "Finders keepers."
She put the money back in the bag and hid it in their attic.

The next day, two police officers were canvassing the neighborhood looking for the money, and knocked on their door. "Pardon me, did either of you find a bag that fell out of an armored car yesterday?"

Sally said, "No."

Jerry said, "She’s lying. She hid it up in the attic."

Sally said, "Don't believe him, he’s getting senile."

The agents turned to Jerry and began to question him.

One said: "Tell us the story from the beginning."

Jerry said, "Well, when Sally and I were walking home from school yesterday .."

The first police officer turned to his partner and said, "Were outta here."

Nice pictures of fish and dogs. Never got into fishing, my husband just had me get his license for him a few wks ago. He got a bunch of small perch one day and his limit in trout a couple of times. Will u get any of your fish mounted? We're taxidermy poor, the taxidermist called today; he's delivering our bobcats on Saturday evering.
I've been riding and seeing some wildlife...a few deer, a turkey, a grouse and today I saw a bear.

We have our mounts in a room in the basement. It needs a suspended ceiling but if we do that I will lose the steel beam I use for my shot glass collection so I don't see that happening. We had to replace all the paneling last March after it flooded. We lost the carpet, too, but decided not to replace it...we painted it with garage paint and put sprinkles on it then clear coat, it came out decent. We don't have an elk mount which is something he's always wanted. He wounded one in ID yrs ago, but someone jumped the blood trail so they decided not to keep after it. We have my fisher coming yet. But I have a coyote rug and an 8 pt mounted plus one of the bobcats is mine, he has 3 bear rugs and a full cub mount, 2 muledeer, an antelope, 5 whitetails, a caribou, a tanned coyote, and from before we were married a ringneck and 2 ducks. He was going to throw the birds out last yr, but I didn't want to, they're still nice for being about 40 yrs old. We have a full mount of a snowshoe rabbit my son shot when he was 12. He doesn't want it, but we did make him take his turkey and deer mount when he bought his house. Chuck tells me when he's old and can't hunt anymore he'll set in the basement and remember the good old days ... I told him he'll probably have alzheimer's and not remember a thing about them.

GOOD MORNING
48 HERE WITH FOG AND RAIN,

REX RIDGE,
SOUNDS LIKE A FULL BASEMENT. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A MULE DEER. I HAVE HUNTED THEM IN ID WITH NO LUCK. MY BROTHER LIVES THERE. MY BEAR WAS SHOT IN WEST VA, I HUNTED WITH HOUNDS. MOST OF MY WHITETAILS HAVE COME OFF MY OWN PROPERTY. NO RECORD BOOKS BUT NICE. I SHOT TWO 8 PTS THIS YEAR, RIFLE / MUZZELOADER. DID NOT MOUNT EITHER OF THEM. BOTH 17" WIDE. MAKE NICE PLAQUE. 350 TO 400 IS A LOT TO MOUNT A HEAD. SO THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BE NICE. ELK WAS NOT A GIANT, BUT THE ONLY ONE I EVER SHOT, A 5 x 5.

IF I GET A CHANCE I WILL PUT A PIC OR TWO OF MOUNTS.

Nice pictures WB. You're dogs look so nice. What kind of dog food do u feed?

We just received our NAFA report, some of r fur finally sold; but not for much. A coyote didn't sell, that kind of surprised us. We thought it would sell at the first auction. But 18 coon sold, some if not all of those were left over from last yr. They went for as low as 50 cents to the highest price was $7.50 for 3XL and XXL SEL !! REMEMBER when those brought $50? We avgd $3.94 and still have 20 left to sell. A muskrat sold for $2.70, 2 possum sold 1 for 50 cents the other for $1.50 and only one red fox sold for $9.

Rob, looking forward to seeing ur mount pictures. We have mostly 8 pt deer. mounted

What long wet miserable night and nothing to show for it but hurt dog an't sure what happened but she as a nasty cut on her back and I got enough Carolina red clay mud on my truck to plant a garden in but there was one cast that everyone got stuck some how one had managed to break a wheel on his truck so I guess it could have been worse

Rex Ridge just Puinia Dog Chow

Went to the casino for champagne brunch with friends today. Was $100 ahead until I lost it +
The taxidermist delivered our bobcats yesterday, I'm a little disappointed, but guess they could be worse.

We usually feed Purina, but when Ruby was pregnant the vet told me to give her puppy chow and she wouldn't eat Purina puppy chow so I tried a couple other brand and she ate the 4 Health the best. I've tried Purina One, Victor and Diamond, but last week decided to switch back to Purina Dog Chow and Complete puppy chow for Dandy.

GOOD MORNING
RAINING HERE

REX RIDGE,
SORRY YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THOSE BOBCAT MOUNTS. I HAVE FED PURINA FEEDS FOR A LONG TIME. PURINA PUPPY TO ANY PUPS I RAISE. I HAVE USED PURINA ONE NOW AND AGAIN. I TRIED PURINA HIGH PRO WHEN THEY MADE IT BUT COULD SEE NO REAL DIFFERENCE. THE MALE DOG I HAD AT THAT TIME WOULD NOT EAT THE HIGH PRO, SO I SWITCHED BACK TO CHOW. I GET GOOD RESULTS. NOW MY ONE LAB WILL NOT EAT IT. MY DAUGHTERS PIT / BOXER MIX GETS SICK WHEN SHE EATS IT. THEY GET PEDIGREE AND LOVE IT. BUT THE OTHER LAB GETS SICK ON PEDIGREE SO HE GETS CHOW. WHAT AN ORDEAL AT FEEDING TIME.

WBOND,
SO HOW DID YOU DO AT THE HUNT?

A man and a woman who never met before, find themselves on upper and lower berth of a long distance train.

At 2 am, man leans over saying, "Ma'am, sorry to bother you, would you be kind enough to give me a second blanket from the side table. It's awfully cold here.

"I have a better idea", she replied, "Just for tonight, why don't we pretend that we are married?"

"Great idea Ma'am", he replied in great excitement.

She says, "Well then get up and get it yourself."

There are three men in the military practicing skydiving. The first man jumps out and a swiss army knife falls out of his pocket. The second man jumps out and a kitchen knife falls out of his pocket. The third jumps out and a grenade falls out of his pocket. When they land, they go and look for the things they drop because they could have really hurt someone.

The first man is running along the street and sees a little boy crying. "Little boy, why are you crying?" he asks. The boy says, "A swiss army knife fell out of the sky and killed my cat!"

The second man is running along a street and sees a little girl crying. "Little girl, why are you crying?" he asks. The girl says, "A big kitchen knife fell from the sky and killed my puppy!"

The third man is running down a street and sees a little boy laughing hysterically. "Little boy, why are you laughing?" he asks. The boy says, "My dad farted and the house blew up!"

Upon arriving home, a husband was met at the door by his sobbing wife. Tearfully she explained, “It’s the pharmacist. He insulted me terribly this morning on the phone.”

Immediately the husband drove downtown to confront the pharmacist and demand an apology.

Before he could say more than a few words, the druggist told him, “Now, just a minute, please listen to my side of it…

This morning the alarm failed to go off, so I was late getting up. I went without breakfast and hurried out to the car, just to realize that I locked the house with both house and car keys inside. I had to break a window to get my keys. Then, driving a little too fast, I got a speeding ticket.”

He continued, “Later, about three blocks from the store, I had a flat tire. When I got to the store there was a bunch of people waiting for me to open up. I opened and started waiting on these people, and all the time the darn phone was ringing off the hook.”

He continued, “Then I had to break a roll of nickels against the cash register drawer to make change, and they spilled all over the floor. I got down on my hands and knees to pick up the nickels; the phone was still ringing. When I came up I cracked my head on the open cash drawer, which made me stagger back against a showcase with bunch of perfume bottles on it…all of them hit the floor and broke.

Meanwhile, the phone is still ringing with no let up, and I finally got to answer it. It was your wife. She wanted to know how to use a rectal thermometer…and, honest mister, all I did was tell her!”

Lol nice jokes. Dang i couldnt imagine havin that many mounts. Of course i got a small house... All i got is a wood duck mount. My first woody... A small full body mounted bear above my fridge the wife shot. And a 34 inch pike. First pike ever caught while ice fishin... also first time i went ice fishin. Tons of furs we made into decorations or some sort of garment. Like our coyote coffee table cover. And lol... a chipmunk coaster for examples. I wouldnt mind gettin a coon mounted to put up in the collar ties and rafters above my ceilin. Also think itd be kool to have ducks or geese mounted locked up suspended by wire hangin from the ridge beam or somethin up in the cathedral ceilin.

O and rob... ur inbox is full
