Hope Jesse Lee is over the heart worms, I was rooting for him this weekend. It takes a while for them to get back to 100% after going through that treatment...

Greg thanks for the support and concerns ol J is doing fine he looked really good in the zones just took a bad break at the end and got circled on a split with hunt time gone the gyp that beat him plussed it was one heck of a cast and down to the wire between her and him he was up a quarter going into that drop with 22 minutes left they was split over 600 yards apart we made six split trees prior to that it was a dandy!! She was very deserving to win the cast and wouldn't be surprised if she wins it all.Just had 150 cw from the night before knew we needed a cw to go on he looked very good both nights. I'd like to thank everybody else for the txt p.m. and calls the support for him always humbles me!!

Got two big ol congrats for these guys they have won two Nt Ch wins in a row with Moon one last weekend and one last night pretty good job guy's her first two Nt Ch casts and she wins them both at that rate won't take long to grand her!! Congrats Emmet Dalton and Billy Mills sounds like Moon is on a row keep up the good work!!

Rory. Isch got a first place on the Jojo female last night. Looks like another one off Jlee and Flop will be titled in a short order! From what I've heard from him she's a nice little unit. I think Izzy will have alot of fun with her!

This weekend is the 2nd annual Jay Mellencamp traditional bow squirrel hunt at Gobbler Holler General Store no entry fee must be signed in by 8a.m. Sat morning check in and the passing of the arrow will be at 4p.m. Saturday evening.Traditional bows only long bow recurve self bows only no sights all state laws apply.Great time all invited.

Guy's have had alot of interest in Spooky if your really interested and want to see her go she is in TN at Eric Bandys house give him a call and set up a hunt 931 510 5695 no trades and we won't budge on her price if she don't sell we will keep her and find something to breed her to.She will prolly be back here in November if she doesn't sell first.

A big ol congrats goes to Emmet Billy and Moon they picked up another win towards Grand last night they just need two more have to also say they have been on a heck or a roll winning 6 cast in a row so far Moon hasn't lost a cast since she made Nt Ch that's pretty impressive for a ol man and a blue dog way to go Emmet :-)

Rory, we English fanciers will be indebted to you and your hard work and dedication for years to come. Any one of us would be absolutely thrilled to have accomplished one of those wins. You and your efforts have accomplished so much more and yet you remain humble.

I love that ole blood that you keep churning up and making winners out of. And I hope to get the opportunity to have some on the end of my lead strap one of these days, to help my efforts along as well.

Anybody that knows me well, knows I prefer Blue English but love a good one no matter what the color. Congrats to you and all who are hunting those Big River hounds.

I'm hoping me and Ole Dave Riehle will get together this season and have a coon chase or two, LOL.

Thanks Dave ain't no one in debt to me for nothing we all work together as english people heck I look up to you and any dedicated man in our sport no matter what breed you have hunted your dogs as long as I have mine and been a long time english man as well!! I've always hung on to these dogs because they suited me and always seemed to keep me in competition no matter where I was at been plenty of good and bad days with the hounds you see my mom is deathly Ill with cancer I was sitting around this morning drinking coffee it dawned on me how precious life is and how fortunate I've been I posted that pic so I could show people what hard work and great friends can accomplish even if your just a small town boy from medora in hopes someday my grandsons will read this and be inspired to try hard no matter what your doing you can make it happen if you try hard and never quit hopefully someday you and I can work together and some good can come from it I have to say I still get a little lump in my throat every time I look back on it all.If it was to end today all I can say is wow what a ride!!

A from the heart post and spoken like the true gentleman you are is a big reason you are well respected in the sport. I hold this honor higher than any accomplishment a hound can bring us. Rory, so very sorry to hear about your mother's illness. I didn't know she was ill. Having said that, I know all to well the anguish of watching a parents health failing. I lost my mom 11 years ago and Dad who is 90 had a stroke a little over a year ago and between the stroke and the altzheimers it hasn't left much of the Dad I spent so many nights in the woods with.

One thing is for sure, Your mother has done an "excellent" job of raising her children with love and respect. Her great works, shines true, through you and your family. I am honored to be able to call you a friend, and though you don't know it, you make all people around you, a better person in life.

PRAYERS SENT on behalf of you and your family

And thanks for holding steadfast in selectively breeding those English dogs that can still drive a track and blow the tree over.
