A sad note my son Brian lost his young Boone hound to the road in front of his house Boone slipped his collar got loose the speed limit is only 35mph on his road nobody stoped He was getting excited about Boone the last night he hunted they got 9 with Anny & Boone & Boone split 500yrds from Anny by himself treed with a double looked good - I hope I can get him to get another ! Boone was a nice hound with a great mouth & will be missed !

Wow did you see what coon hides are bring in? SHOOTING them all down was VERY BAD. Now we have to make some money to get gas to trap some more to restock what we have killed! And gas is going back up $1.80 a gallon as of today was $1.66 over Christmas. I seen on the form that a few eastern sections pulled out of the auction that is how bad it is. And most hides are going for $7.00 and big ones are $15.00 to $20.00 and that is if they will sell only 5% sold at auction. I think the pit will get my hides. I am not going to waist my time turning in my hides Heck I might not shot another one this season.....

Rich coon aren't going to and haven't paid anything!!!!!If the U.S. economy is bad just think what the other countries economies are like especially the ones that use coon fur!!!!!!!

We went back to just shooting one now and then as soon as we got 60. We take them whole to a guy and get 5.00 a coon.
Their more valuable in the woods. After all when you get the pay Rock pays you should give all the hides to Tom for helping out!!!!

Rock i'll try you back today---- you call to late we coonhunt when it gets dark!!!!!!

tom everything is set to go well leave on the 11 of feb and leave there on the 15 of feb. motel is all set to go. just paid my entry fee for ozzy.rich do you still want my reloader? tom i might have a guy for us to hunt with. the guy who runs the bird dog challenge his neighbor has hounds. anybody need a dog hauled i have room for 4 dogs. well be going through pa ny oh in and ill. just let me know my number is 570-724-9123 thanks jimmy

JGPotter yes bud but right now money is all tide up I need new tires for my car dog lis. and shots and a few other things and coon hides went down hill big time. Along with that We are trying to build a kennel so I am out of cash right now if you can sell it go ahead and sell it but if you dont ill get it I hope next month oo plus I have a buck mount I have to pay for lol lol thank you bud!!

Hi RJ missed your call lastnite I will call SOON I will be open to hunting Ruby in UKC hunts this yr we will get some plans !

Jimmy sounds great will be ready to go !

Rich no big deal with the coon it wont be the 1st yr prices are bad & probly not the last but there is still a chance prices may get better & the money out of coonhides is just a extra bonus - it is all about getting a good kill season on the hounds & we have done that ! Still going to shoot a few more out to the hounds good or bad coon prices !!! Hide season is the Best Time of yr get them dogs tuned up good & LOT's of Great Adventures !

Rich & I hunted lastnite & we could not get ANYTHING not even a EMPTIE TREE a BAD nite forsure lol But got in some good quality time with the pups !

The guy who owns half of lawarenceville, Handles bar none the best female coonhound in the usa, and gets pd. alot of monopoly money from rock is complaining about coon hide price the economy must be bad lol

Congratulations to RJ and Tom on their win last night. Ruby did a nice job on that coon, I still can't believe that we saw a coon with the weather being so bad. Tom you are on your way to handler of the year. haha. Keep them looking up.

No picts or videos tonight only a couple wombats out tonight lol Did road the dogs a few miles tonight but quit when we notice Ivan sliding eraticly on the ice ! Got some nice picts of our hides today 100 coon 16 fox & 1 coyote - Brian did a great job with our furs again this yr !

Hi Barry Thanks Ruby did a great job treed with 3 mins left in hunt with a coon on a 20degree bright moonlite night with the ground coverd with snow & bad ice she got my blood flowing Strong sitting under that coon I like her ! Congrats what dog are you hunting ?

Hi Spidee !!! Talked with John lastnite he says we could have a big coon contest in March can you shoot them in March in NY well thats a dumb ? season is open all yr round in NY lol

Thanks to RJ , Rock & Mr Harold Hopkins for allowing me to handle their hounds in the hunts it is something that I plan on doing all yr for people after the SS - I can think of at least 11 UKC NT Hunts within 25 miles of my house this yr something for some of you guys that may want a dog hunted through the week & put in a hunt on weekend Rich & I could be the ones to do this for you !

i never dun no good tonight eather.i turned loose the dogs 3 times and not a bark and it was onley 30 degrees out but the coon are verry thin where we went .took the girlfreand tonight she says she mite be bad look tonight.i told her that was coon hunting we never left the house till 10.30 and got back just befor 2

Rich, Tom, Brian You guys are the men. I just looked at all the coon your dogs got lol. I need to contact the dream team asap we can not hang with you guys anymore ya'll got to into it. Thinking about it we would like to say thank you for hunting our dogs for us that is nice not giving credit where credit is due. To make the pic better you should have put your dogs in it and said they did all the work. lol

Rich I have a couple panels here when the snow is gone you and Tom can come up and see if you want them there are 3 maybe 4 can't remember but they are the heavy duty fence anyways

Tom, Ruby says thanks it was fun and can't waite to do it again. When is Tioga's sat night hunt? If you want to run her again let me know. I am going to start hunting spiderman in the little hunts on weekdays you never know
