WBOND,
SOMETHING TELLS ME YOU SEE A LOT OF THOSE POSTED SIGNS. MOST UP HERE JUST PAINT A BLUE MARK ON TREE. THE GREAT STATE OF MARYLAND RECOGNIZES IT FOR A POSTED SIGN.

down here or so they say ya can use white or silver paint marks but I must be color blind or something I never see any but I think I some how must have learned this early Alvin Alderman David's Uncle any my Mom's 1st cousin could fly threw the woods we he came back from War War II he decided to take some time and hunt ya see he didn't read about the battle of midway or watch a movie about it he lived threw it but any way he would set on the front porch and wait for John Mabe the game warden to pass by and it didn't matter not one bit that squirrel season was closed or that the land was posted he grab that shotgun from the house and head off a hunting boom boom blast them squirrells from one ridge to the next all the while making sure he picked up every shell for which he has a purpose ya see he would pile them up under a posted sign with a little note thar said keep land posted makes good hunting this went on all of one summer and when John West was asked about it this is all he said I would drive by see him setting on the porch and I knew when I passed by he was going to get that gun and go a hunting I chased him all over them mountains the only problem was by the time I got on the top of one he would all ready be shooting on the next one and there I would be ringing wet with sweat tree bark hanging from sweat all over my face by the end of summer I was in the best shape of my life but I still couldn't catch him I sure was glad when he got a job that fall

MORNING ALL
52 HERE

REX RIDGE,
HOW WAS CASINO? WE WENT TO ONE TO WEEKS AGO TOOK 20 BROUGHT 45 HOME. WON 20 MORE BUT GAMBLED IT AWAY. WAS FUN.

WBOND,
I LIKED THE STORY. GAME WARDENS NEED TO STAY IN SHAPE. HE MAY HAVE EXTENDED HIS LIFE SPAN. ALSO LIKED PILEING SPENT SHELLS UNDER POSTED SIGN. I MAY ALSO TRY THE COLOR BLIND PART.

DANW,
WE EXPECT PICS.

Angry

I lost again. Haven't came home ahead once this month.
Had a beautiful day in NW PA, took the pups for a half hr walk and rode my horse for an hr and a half.
Didn't think about it until I got home with the pups, but what can u put on them for ticks/fleas? I bought spot on stuff but it is for pups 12 wks and our r just going to be 10.

I BOUGHT HER FOR MY SON WHEN HE WAS ALOT YOUNGER. HE NAMED HER MCMILLANS MIDNITE STINGIN SADIE. WE WENT TO OHIO AND HE PICKED HER OUT. SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE.

Have any of y'all tried this yet ?

Conkey Oudorrs

Skunk Away

I have come up with a new product and need some opinions. On TV I have been watching people gather in the road to shutdown traffic and I have come up with a safe way to end all this. It is called my SKUNK AWAY. It is a small and simple spray system that attaches around your front bumper going out 45* on the front. Can be hidden on most cars and you never know it is there until you need it. When you drive up on some protesters, just turn on the spray system and a SKUNK SPRAY will be admitted and guaranteed to clear any roadway of protesters. Kit comes with sprayer, hoses, tank, controls and 6 months supply of SKUNK BE GONE.
Wait there is more! Due to the fact some of the protestors already smell as bad as skunks, we will offer for a limited time SOUND BE GONE. This is a horn that is 150 DB and one blast of this horn and you have them running for cover.

Once the protesters have learned not to do this the system can be used to break your dogs off skunks. Just place your Blue dog in front of the car. Add a little spray and one blast of the horn will break them forever. Deer or Possum
scent can also be used for Blank and Tan and English Dogs.

Sorry for your loss.

I found a Sargents spot on yesterday that was for pups as young as 8 wks. I thought I'd give it a try. So many dogs have lymes in this area. I have Ruby and Lu vaccinated for it. At Dandy's next trip to the vet, I'll check into getting him vaccinated, too. A guy is supposed to come tomorrow to get the last pup we have for sale. Not sure how Dandy will feel about getting all the attention.

We sold the last pup today. We saved one for ourselves. I haven't figured out how to post pictures from my cellphone.
Took pictures, I would have liked to share yesterday. One of the damage a turkey did to r new Prius when it flew into it and one of the 38lb beaver my husband and his buddy caught. Always have pictures of pups...I started posting pictures of Ruby on FB when she started showing, then I posted one of the pups almost every day.

REX RIDGE,

IF YOU HAVE A SMART PHONE YOU HAVE TO GET A PHOTO BUCKET ACCOUNT, SAME WITH LAP TOP. THEY ARE FREE. YOU HOST YOUR PICS THERE.

ONCE YOU ARE A MEMBER YOU GO ONTO PHOTO BUCKET AND FIND WHERE YOU LOG A PHOTO. WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO TO YOUR PHOTS. YOU CAN LOAD ONTO PHOTO BUCKET. ONCE ON YOU COPY IMG CODE AND PASTE ON HERE. NOT HARD ONCE YOU LEARN.

Posting pictures (how to)
By popular demand, I'm creating this thread as a quick how-to guide on posting pictures on the board. I'm stickying it so it won't get lost like all of the other threads on this subject. So, without further ado...

HOW TO POST PICTURES ON THE UKC BOARD

Step 1: Get A Picture

First of all, you need to have a picture in a digital format. If it's in your computer already, then you can move on to...

Step 2: Host the Picture

You need to have your picture hosted somewhere. What we mean by this is that your picture needs to be uploaded somewhere onto the web, such as on your own web site, a friend's web site or one of the free picture hosting services, such as hunt101.com, photobucket.com or imagestation.com.

Personally, I prefer Photobucket.com, since it's free and very straightforward to use. If you do host your picture there, just follow the steps on their web site to create an account and to upload your photos.

Once your picture is uploaded...

Step 3: Find Out The Picture's URL

Find out your picture's web address. This is the URL you need to type to view your picture. A simple way to get this is to load up the page your picture is on, right-click the picture and choose "properties" from the menu that pops up. What you need will look something like this "http://www.ukcdogs.com/res/img/example.jpg".

On Photobucket, all you really need to do is to log into your account, click on the photo you want to post so that it loads full-screen. Then, to the right of the picture, copy the line next to the "Img" label. It should look something like this:

Paste that line into your message board post and you're all set.

If you're not using Photobucket...

Step 4: Post The Picture

Now that you have the URL, you can inflict it on your fellow UKC board members. All you have to do is type in the url, surrounding it with the tags, so it looks this:

Make sure you've copied the entire link--from the "http://" to the very end (which will be something like ".jpg", ".gif" or ".png").

The board should then display the photo automatically whenever the post is viewed, like this:

Keep in mind, however, that if your photo is removed from the hosted site, it'll cause a broken link on this board (the picture won't show up).

I did the photobucket thing, but I don't think my phone and I ate smart enough. Can't copy and paste.
They got another beaver today. That makes 4 since they started trapping together about 3 wks ago. We had one before that and his buddy had 2. They're not worth anything. His friend is getting one mounted and taking the rest except the first one we caught to get something made for his girlfriend. I want to try and tan one for a saddle seat cover. Rode my horse Jas for 2 hrs today. Saw 4 deer and a bunch of ducks.
