Sorry I've been floating around in the background here lately. I've been very busy wrapping up another school year. We are finally finished with school so my schedule should open up quite a bit. Regardless we've been getting after it 3-4 nights a week for the last little bit but man it has been DRY! We haven't had a good rain in nearly a month and we've had a couple of weeks in the 90's already. Finally last night we got about 0.2 of rain.

It has been rough on the hounds and the hunting, that's for sure. I haven't heard a dog run a good track in probably 3 weeks! We hunt wild coons and we have been treeing a few but nothing like we were when there was still plenty of moisture. Swaggy has been hunting much deeper than usual putting us in new territory pretty consistently hunting for a decent track he can run.

It seems like the ones that are moving don't hit the ground until after midnight or later. I know of a few guys who have trailcam pics of a sow and a few kittens around their feeders. The dogs have hit a few tracks that ran like a gang of kittens but we haven't seen one yet.

Gotta keep them in shape this time of year. It looks like a considerable amount of rain is on the way next week. On the bright side- things should really pick up in about a month- almost like Christmas time when those little ones are stirring about!!

I'm glad to see ya'll aren't letting Tyler get away with a few cheap shots! As a matter of fact, the last time I saw him I think he was taking a nap!!

Tim- I know you're looking forward to the summer time and getting to see Grayson. Man they grow up just too FAST!!! Maybe we can hook up for a hunt sometime in the near future.

Simon its been tuff here also, Hot an Dry makes a slow nite, been hunting Josie alone most of the time an she has been very accurate when she gets hooked.
Grayson will be here June 11th and we are going camping on the new river, With that being said iv got two females booked that week to breed to Money so I may be asking for a little help, iv been turning females away but need to get these two bred, Thanks to all for the support an understanding while Money is in VA, We Only Need Two More Wins an he will be home.

Mr. Tim, I have always said you breed coon dogs to coon dogs and you get coon dogs! You don't get a pony when you breed race horses! Never once have I regretted the Bean blood in my dogs. Thank you for letting me take part in your bloodline. Hooking me up with Sean was a good call , Tim. He is a good handler and good with Gypsy. I trusted you Tim because you have always been honest and never lied to me. Thank you for your friendship. You will never be repaid for all you have done for people, and the walker breed. I'm sorry we lost Bean, but his pups and grand pups gonna' keep him alive forever!......Thank you and Sean for all your help with Gypsy. Oh! And by the way Hardwood Chance is gonna' be needing your help soon!
