Larry. I hope prissy is breed. Thanks for takin that picture for me and Im going to run a add in the october issue about that cross and the one on mouse. That would be something if she comes in heat and gun breeds 3 gold ch and one wld champion in one year. He being off a outstanding cross and the quality of females that are being backed up to him looks for a promising future for the breed. I am excited for you and the english breed. I may even keep one for myself off prissy or mouse. I saw prissy dropped 2 times and did not take long to make a believer out of me that she was what everyone was looking for and that is a hound that is a absolute pleasure to hunt that will give you a chance against anything. When bud wanted her in all he had to do was call her. Just joulous hunters did not like her.lol Thanks for your help.

Sad news comming in pairs now...Just had Dual Gr Ch 'PR' Wilcox's Thunder Blue to my vet.. Ate up with cancer not long to go for the old boy...Might be the last of the fab-5 he's been romeing my back yard sence he suffered a heat stroke last year...What a pleasure to have owned and followed Dan And Blue I have been blessed...................Larry

Hey Larry,

I just wanted to drop you a line on a male pup that I've out of Gun and Oakwoods Diamond. I carried him out the 1st time a little over a month ago, and the 1st night out he got snake bit. I've never seen a pup get as bad as this pup over a snake bite. He was bit in the throat area, and swelled up big time, ended up loseing all of the hair around his face and neck area. It has taken a few weeks for him to get fully recovered. I just started back taken him to the woods, a few nights ago, and he has been out 4 times now, and he is going to be a natural, he is real tree minded, and it dont take much to get him fired up on the tree, he is going with the dogs and has opened once on a track. He loves a coon, and I laid him a blind drag the last night I took him out, and he trailed it up, all the way to the tree, and strecthed up as high as he could on the tree, and cut loose on it, he could not see the coon either, it was all by just treeing on scent. He has a big ole mouth on him, and really sounds good. I sent Asa briggs a video of him treeing on it. He was the only Black and white male in the litter. I will keep you posted on his progress. I think Allen told me that all of the pups in that litter is treeing.

I am sorry my friend about blue, he's been a good one, and done his part for the great thunder kennels, he was a reproducer just like his father before him and his father. its sad in order to have great hounds we must lose a few. but he done his job and lived being well took care of. I think i am about to stumble across something, they take so good care of you because you take so good care of them. I know with the crosses being made and the pups that are on the ground the tradition rolls on. take care my friend. Terry
