Thanks Ron. Lou is a nt ch with one win towards grand. We bought her last summer from guy houx in mo. She hadnt been hunted for over two years. We bought her because of her reputation at night and she is the mother of our Robin female. She is 7 or 8 and when we got her back in shape found out she is extra nice at treein ricky ringtail. I think she deserves the gr nite title but her age might make it difficult to do. We bred her to smoke early last week.

Won nt ch in girard tonight with Lou. Scored 600+ & 400 circle no minus. Had to work all day just about didnt have enough time to make it. That makes 2 wins on her, I sure hope she has a nice litter in 50 days........... Timmy C

How about setting Ranger out for 3 weeks while Robin is in heat just to keep it fair..HaHa Bet little Robin will be wired 440 when she comes out.
Iv'e been working crazy hours again but we have been keeping the dogs in the woods. Treeing a few.
I will be working the overhaul at Montrose Station this Saturday but plan on trying to make it to Marshall for the RQE.Timmy will have to haul the dogs and I will try and meet up with him on the road.
Hey, if you want to rest up Ranger (just to keep the race fair) we have one you can hunt!!!!!!haha

Smoke and Lou getting ready for the Marshall hunt this weekend. I won't make it Fri. night but will try to be there Sat.

The Reunion is just a week away and only 45 miles from home this year so we are excited. Timmy and I are trying to find the best spots for guiding for the hunt. Should be some good hunting. Still treeing some double and triples. Alot of our hunting has had a lot of pressure but we have a sweet spot or two that should produce some coon.

Lou is a real nice hound and was tough competition when she was younger, she is still plenty tough now. She is from a long line of reproducing Jet bred dogs and she is keeping up the tradition. The pups from Turk x Lou were outstanding and there is no reason to think the pups from Smoke x Lou should be any different..........Tim

We are hopeing that she took. Pups from this cross should have all the right tools and then some.

Headed to Marshall, Mo. tonight to their RQE, hope to get in with Smoke and Lou.

More then likely we will draw out with Tim and or Paul. Seems like the deck is stacked that way right now. Both of our dogs have been looking good all week. Hope the trend keeps on keepin on.

We have a new addition comming to our kennels in the near future. We bought Hutch's Torch pup. He is comming 2 and is out of Wacker and Jazz. Friend of ours has a female litter mate that is cranking and he is planning on hunting her at the Reunion. We have hopes to tune on Torch and get him in the hunts right away.

With all the John II females that we have Torch should be the cross we need for them. Alot of old Mad Dog and Jet blood wound up through Wacker and Jazz.

Only consolation to the whole thing was his dog didn't beat ole Smoke he just out handled me. He was on his toes and I was coasting. Learned my lesson!!!
Hey you and Paul done an awsome job guiding us, thanks. You should have dry holed us on that last drop!!!!haha

One thing it did show me was that with some more hard huntin ole Smoke just might be a contender again this year.

over at Montrose, Mo. till the end of June. Wow there are some awsome looking hunting spots around here. Now if I can just get to know a few farmers I might have some new hunting territory.
Getting ready for the Reunion this week. Should be some great weather for it.
Hope to take 3 to 4 dogs to put in the hunt. Timmy has a buddy that will handle for us so we should have a strong showing this weekend.
Thankfully robin is out of heat so I will have her there and Timmy is hunting Smoke.

We will see you there. It would be cool to have several Mad Dogs show them that we are there.
Just hope it goes better than last night. Timmy just about got Wendy drowned, she got her collar caught on a stob in the creek fightin a coon and twisted it around to where just her nose was sticking out of the water by the time Timmy got there. He had to cut her collar off with his pocket knife. Thank God for Garmins.
I hunted Robin by myself and ended up in a swamp and walked 1/2 mile of knee deep water to get to her and she was slick.
Gettin all the bad stuff out of the way early I guess.haha
