OLD DIALECT

THERES A OLD DIALECT LIKE GULLAH, THATS FOUND IN THE COASTAL VA. ISLANDS OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AREA. I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT, BUT, IT IS MIXED TIDEWATER ACCENT AND OLD SLAVE LANGUAGES. ITS SAD THESE OL DIALECTS ARE DIEIN OUT. I GUESS ILL JUST KEEP SPEAKIN MY SOUTHERN ENGLISH [ SOUTHERN HIGHLAND ], AS NATURAL AS I PLEASE, [ OL ALABAMA SONG ]. GOD BLESS YALL ALL.

We have a version here not related to that dialect, but for the sake of being polically correct I will refrain from using the phrase.

A rich Yankee bought a plantation close by and like always they want to remodel and redo and generally spend some money to start with. My best friend and coon hunting buddy quit school in the nineth grade and went to work on this plantation. That made 11 hands and no foreman because the owner was going to live there full time. After about two weeks my buddy told me he got a dollar raise. I asked he he made supervisor and he said no,it was the same job all he was suppose to do was tell everybody what they were suppose to do that day and if anybody had any questions or concerns he was to go tell the boss. So he told the fellows that and one spoke up and said" Tank Gawd. Dat man tawk an tawk fa ebba an wen e tru e ai say nutt'n. So then he went on to tell me he had gone to apply for his drivers license. He said he had to put down his age and his education and then he started chuckling, he said he had to put down his occupation so he wrote down Professional Translator.

REALLY GETTING FRUSTRATED WITH UKC MESSAGE BOARD NOT RESPONDING AS IT SHOULD. VERY VERY SLOW. REST OF NET WORKS FINE. WHY WILL UKC NOT SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

I HAVE ONLY HEARD BITS AND PIECES, BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE SO. I HAVE FOX NEWS ON RIGHT NOW.

LOOKS AS IF IT WAS IN A TALL BUILDING. SHOULD BE DC OR BALTIMORE AREA. THEY ARE 3 HOURS OR SO EAST OF ME.

ACTUALLY 3 HOURS IS TO CLOSE FOR ME.

GETTING WARM HERE TODAY ALSO. I DO NOT THINK AS WARM AS THE PAST COUPLE BUT STILL WARM.

JUST GOT A DISTURBING CALL. A FRIEND OF MINE LOST HIS YOUNG FEMALE. SHE HAD KIDNEY FAILURE. VET DID AN AUTOPSY. SHE HAD MEAT AND ANTI FREEZE IN HER.

I KNOW THE AREA HE HUNTS IN PA. THEY HAVE HAD ALOT OF COYOTES, AND THE DEER HUNTERS HAVE GOTTEN ROAD KILLED DEER AND LACED THEM WITH ANTI FREEZE. I GUESS IT WORKS ON COYOTES, BUT EVERYTHING GETS INTO IT. DOGS, CATS, COON!!! POSSUMS EVEN THE BEAR WILL EAT ON DEER CARCUSSES. THEY NEED TO SMARTEN UP A LITTLE.
