NAT WHAT LINE OF FEMALES CROSS THE BEST ON ROCKY FOR GETTING GOOD NOSES AND REAL GOOD , FAST TRACK DOGS? WITH ALL THE DIFFERENT STUD DOGS OUT THERE I FEEL ITS EASIER TO GET TREE MINDED HOUNDS THAN IT IS A GOOD TRACK DOG. I GOT TO HUNT WITH HIM YEARS AGO IN THE ZONE HUNT IN ROGERSVILLE TN. HE SEEMED TO BE A COON DOG. I HAVE ALSO TALKED TO A FEW PEOPLE THAT HAS HUNTED WITH HIM IN THE PAST THAT HAVE ALSO SAID HE WAS A SURE ENOUGH COON DOG. DOES HE PRODUCE HOUNDS THAT ARE AS GOOD AS HE WAS? I LIKE A BIG HOUND WITH A BIG MOUTH THAT CAN RUN A TRACK AND BE DEADLY ACCURATE. FROM ALL I HAVE SEEN AND HEARD OF HIM HE WAS JUST THAT. MY BO DOG IS ALSO A BIG HOUND WITH A BIG MOUTH, GOOD TRACK SPEED AND ACCURATE. I'M LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT FEMALES TO CROSS BACK ON BO LATER AND I KNOW ROCKY'S GETTING OLD SO IF THATS THE ROUTE I NEED TO TAKE I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GET ON WITH IT. IF WERE NOT CAREFUL WERE GOING TO LOOSE THE ART OF TRAILING UP THEM REAL BAD TRACKS AND SHOWING A COON AT THE END.

Old RockyII has been hunt all over. Thanks for the comments. He has produce some nice hounds. He cross good on Cat,Wilcox line to get good track hound. He also work good line breeding him. He got the speed and pass it on.

Nat,

The Rainstorm brought the flood problems we are having in the Southside area and brought '' Cooper" out the flood ... Dougs 7month old pup "Cooper" ran the track twice last night and was at the tree when we got there. Pretty impressive and I believe he has only been twice with me and hunted six times at the most..... Keep up the good work on the hill out the flood :)
