I got a call from Bill Toops telling me another female in Utah out of Light'in & Ellie May had ran a track for 45 mins. & treeing a Lion at the end of it.

They had to get out ledge to pull her away he said Russ Jones told him there was ((NO WAY)) she was leaving that Lion.

So u Big Game Hunters might want to look at some pups off Light'in to use on Big Game because Light'in is producing some nice big game hounds also as well as coondogs.

I was told she is so loud they had to put there fingers in there ears as they were trying to get her off the Lion they all have BIG MOUTHS on them.

We have had several call from out west people wanting pups off Rock also to use on Big Game we will try to fill the bill for everyone.

Light'in couldnt get struck where we turned him so he went about a mile & got treed up next to a mans house & it was really windy good thing he was wearing a Garmin so we could find him real quick he was setting under a big coon it was laying on a den on the outside.

Light'in just needs two more wins to be Gr.Nt. should get it done before to long were getting him tuned up for the hunts.

I dont have a # for u all I can say is Light'in hasnt been pushed hard in the hunts because Im not able to hunt like I did at one time, I wait on someone to help me.

I do know in AKC he won all his cast with plus points & this year in the AKC World he treed two coons on time out if this had not have happen he would have won back to back & I think he only lost two cast in AKC I think. He is a Gr.Nt.Ch. in AKC

But I really dont know about UKC. But when u start looking at #s who got the luck of the draw when they only give away one win in Nt.Ch. u can't control where they put u in a night hunt some places have more coons than others so there nothing u can do about that. So sometimes a cast win dont do u any good

Light'in has only been in one or two night hunts in UKC this year & he has won both of them, last year ((Maybe 2-3)) thats whats on my mine I know he won one last year with 1200+ that was a year ago rite around now. He is death on layup coons thats why he scored such a good score.

If all goes well we will have him finished this year, Im working on the Rock dog getting him ready to roll. If we would have keep Light'in in the hunts he would be finished now.But hes not been pushed at all.

Outstanding looking pups with great ears. Look just like the three we have at home. We took the male pup hunting Thursday night with Billy. He showed really good at night, not intimidated or scared of anything. Even got on the tree with Billy, didn't bark but smelled and looked up. He's only three months old. I was impressed with him all around.

Thats good to here about the pups.Can you post a picture of them or you can send them to my Photo Bucket & I will post them we sure would like to see them.

Russ will be coming over pretty soon to breed Bunny back to Light'in.We want to wish you the very best of luck with ya'lls pups also.Hope they make something ((SPECIAL)) !!!!! something you can be very proud of.

The little female we got sure is smart & has one heck of a mouth on her she is full of fire & we sure do like her looks also she has a huge bawl mouth & will put her feet on the side of the kennel & chop every breath she dont miss a lick.

Looking forward to getting a pup out of Bunny the next time this way there is some age between Ellies & Bunnys pups for us these gips are way above average female the first cross off Light'in & Ellie are doing ((GREAT)) bet u can't buy one from what Im told so this litter here should do the same make Coondogs or Big Game Hounds.

Keep me posted on how there doing.
