It was suppose to snow this AM then be kind of nice, but that didn't happen. Snow, cold and windy instead, a good day to be at the casino. Especially, since I came home $100 ahead. Then we took fur to NAFA pickup. Last yr, we stood in line, this yr, we were the only ones there

Sorry to say, but read in trapping article that coon aren't worth anything. We still have 29 out of 35 with NAFA that didn't sale last yr. We only shot 8 coon this yr off Ruby and caught 2 in bobcat/coyote traps. We had 5 fox, a coyote, 2 possums and 2 muskrats to sell. Last yr, we got $30 for a red fox. Talked to a guy that sold a coyote, a couple of coon and a couple of fox early locally and he only got $60 for everything. We got a fisher and bobcat that might be worth something, but we're getting them mounted and a beaver we might get tanned. since its the first one we ever caught.

Well I got Price off the couch and in the timber it's a good thing I took and extra light along because Price needed it heck when he got to the second tree he didn't even have a dog lead you think he never been hunting before the 1st tree the dogs had gotten deep Price said we are going to have a heck of a walk I said by looking at Garmin we should be able to drive a whole lot closer so we drove around they were about 650 yards from the road in behind a house the lights were own at the house Price said you reckin we had better go see if they will let us go in there and get the dogs I said well it don't matter so down the driveway we go all the house light on basements lights on but no car in the driveway I said I don't believe anybody is home Price gets outs knocks on the door nobody comes to the door he comes back and says you want to drive back to the road and drive in to em I had already looked at the Garmin they only 300 yards from there I said heck no I am going to em from here
