How much snow did you all get? we got hit with rain and tornado's. its cold now with snow flurries. but hunting is good.

Been having some good nights coon hunting and some bad one night jr made 5 trees and saw 4 coons 1 den. next night 3 dens. hunting the pups to who have been making some trees with coons and knocking them out.

I realize the bad and good and hopefully we have more good than the bad. You can tell the end of winter is here it goes back and forth nice days where the frogs are out and then the bad cold nights. but its still good coon hunting. Just remember any night or day hunting is better than being at work. Good hunting.

Dogs fell in deep and treed two coon seen. second cut dogs went in a few hundred yards open and ran the track another hundred and treed on a single. last track they hit ended up being a den tree. It was a nice night to be in the woods.joe

been really tough on a young dog here I went to 2 hunts and lonesome has had the worst weekend I have seen him have since he started!! 3 dog cast and we never got to score a tree? he treed 2 times but never settled in and took minus on the one think a little trashiness was involved,sure sounds like your doing really good there!!!

last night was a great night with the pups out of patch. they treed on a den then they slick tree at which time I took them off the tree and made them move on. They ended up treeing about 300 yards away with the meat. Shot him down and called it a night. They are doing pretty good for this time of the year. Weather is going to get nice this week so spring is coming.

Hey your going to have nights that are good and bad just keep lonesome II in the timber.

The two pups I have are out of Patch and are doing a great job in the woods. I won Best of Show Male at the Va BBOA State Championship over the weekend with the male pup. I forgot to buy a BBOA membership before the bench show started so I was unable to compete for the BBOA over all show dog.

good to hear your doing some winning!!! I slowed down a little ive got a sister who has had brain cancer for last 5 years and it came back and they gave her 2 to 8 months to be on this earth with us so priorities are changing for a bit!! one of the hardest things I have faced in my journey here,anyway im glad its going great for you!!!

a nice hunt last night treed one in a den, I believe the females are having or have their little one. Joey and I had a fun time. Been hunting in between practices and ball games its had to keep up.

good to hear all is well and your getting to participate in our beloved sport!!!! thankyou all for the prayers! prayer is powerful although she cant be cured the good lord has spared her a lot of pain she still can smile and eat so for now its a comfort. lonesome is coming out of the lyme disease okay. he scored 700 last nite and shoulda had 800 but laid back on 2 trees he had 4 of our 7 coon scored
