Bigdavidbeebe, It has to be left on high for a little while before it starts to get hot. Have several guys that use them on long cords and hold them in their hands. It has never been a complaint. None of these led heads are made to be run on high for long periods of time, but I still see guys walking around with their lights cranked up all over the woods.

Guy i got 1 of these lights less than a week ago. It is without a doubt the brightest light i have seen. It has a good halo for walking and will spot it coon in any tree. I hunt every night with a lot of guys with different lights.

Trust me you cant go wrong with this light!!!!

I had a hard time deciding on the sunfire or torch pro.After hunting with a guy using a torch pro i'm glad i went sunfire.The sunfire is brighter,bigger spot and better halo for walking.

Guys I purchased one of these lights around Christmas time and he was out of the pop covered lens at that time. I requested my lens a couple of weeks ago a bam! I GOT UM! Its so good to get good service these days. By the way I love my Sunfire, Great product!

i got one of these lights last year and it is by far the best light i have owned. i need to order another for a back up. it charges quick and lasts all night. ive used it 2 nights in a row and never died.
