I had posted this on Brummy's thread and thought it would be better posted here.

My Boomin' Jet female, Double Tuff Blue Miss-B-Havin'(Missy), is just about to turn the corner and start doing it by herself. She started early and was running and treeing anything that would climb at 5 months old. She shows she wants to be accurate and I believe she is going to be pretty independent. She is a beautiful female and has a really big, male dog style mouth. I would like to thank Scott Vanden Heuvel for making sure I got a nice female off of Annie and Jet when the cross was made. I can't wait to put her through a good coon season. Once she is finished and a couple of years older, I'll definitely be interested to see how the pups out of Missy and Brummy turn out. It looks like Jet is throwing nice pups off of everything he is crossed on and will follow in his Daddy's foot steps in the reproducing department.

Pine Ridge Blue Boomin Mindy

These are three single coon treed last nite by this young female by her self in thin coon out of Jet and Mindy she is a hard going little female that gets gone in a hurry .

I haven't had Tramp out much lately as I've been bowhunting pretty much all day while I've been on vacation. His little break must've been just what he needed to refuel the tanks. Wednesday night I hunted back home (Vernon County), and hunted some big country where coon aren't on every hillside. Tramp did a nice job getting himself into coon, working a track thru a big corn field, and bringing it back.to the timber. Last night I hunted around Darlington, where the walking is a LOT easier on the body, and he did a nice job. Cut him loose as the rain hit around midnight, and the first dump he pushed a track to a den. Next dump he went 900 yds, got into where the coon were, caught one momentarily, and then treed. Tramp now has another notch in his ear. That's 2 for the year.. Tramp shows great ability at such a young age. He has excellent drive, desire, and a brain and mouth to go with it. I have a feeling someday he's gonna have his own thread on here....

Brett's pup out of Jet x Lizzy seems like he's gonna be an easy starting all natural. Thatpup definitely has a good home, and you'll be hearing more from Buddy.

The way it's looking, Jet is gonna have some real winners showing up over the next couple years. Seems like he's really reproducing the right kind!!! Keep up the good work guys!

I try my best to be selective before pulling the trigger. Have lrft WAY more in the tree than I've knocked out so far. Treed a lot of kits so far. Works out though, Tramp tries harder the next time if he's not rewarded.

Tramp really impressed me last night. Was 11 before I turned loose. Temps were in the mid 20s with a heavy frost forming. First dump he ranged out, got struck, pushed thru all the coons tricks along the river, and treed him. Next dump, temps were dropping fast and I was regretting turning him loose at first. He went out for 45 minutes, never said a peep, and then came back to me. I'm a competition hunter, but as a hide hunter, I greatly appreciate that on nights where there's not much going on! Especially if he never struck a track. Here's a couple pics.
