Buddy I agree with you 100% helping each other out to get the best of the best. This is what friendship is all about. These cross's like were doing is something I use to dream about now its a reality. Mixing these bloodlines up is going to produce some outstanding coon dogs.

Nice pup my friend Larry. I glad the coonhunting world is getting to know Larry Wilcox better since he won the wd hunt. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Wilcox but have watched him crank out winners for many many years. I have always been impressed with his hounds big houndy mouths and looks. They get in the dark good and have great noses. It has to be a challenge to improve from the point that Larry is at right now but I bet he is more than up to this challenge. With much respect good luck to the home of the WORLD CHAMPION !!!!!

Good Morning Buddy, Well can't say he is not different...I thought when I picked that tri-color pup on the way to southern english day he was different and that is why I picked him but this one tops that.....He will never have to be tattoed....I'm not sure I can describe him but he is diff. and changing color...I have had 2 pups from diff. females that have come out like this and I don't know where it is comming from ???? I'm sure there must be more out there maybe someone one here has a idea....He is smart as a whip and a real nice happy pup........Take care my friend and have a great day..Larry.................(can't wait for season)

My 28 year old son wanted me to keep that pup. There are three males in the litter. This pup looked more llike Top Gun and Tae Bo. I kept a male that looked more like Jess and a male that was the runt of the litter. He looks more like himself. LOL I think he is a throw back. This is one of the most intellegent litters i have raised. Jess is a super smart female. Her pups mature early. They seldom act like puppies.

Thanks James, Its hard right now...a good friend (Rory) told me I would be trying to judge all by Gun....Just can't do it....Having a little health problems but on the mend I think and a good young man chompin at the bit...Taken a young one to a hunt this evening ...Can't wait to get these young guns to the woods...Thanks again Larry

Thats Great news Rory, I did not like the way we had to wait till what ever it was 15th or 16th day....Sometime these dogs know more that we do.....I've been hunting more and more and legs and hip seem to be doing better....Young dog you hunted with is still not in my view as ready for the hunts yet..We did put him in one and did all right till 2nd and 1st on coon without tail hair ha..Can't wait for season and some cooler weather got to get Gun pups out.....Larry
