Rex, When do the hickory nuts usually fall. I haven't gotten any for a long time and when I think about it squirrels have already beat me to them. I do get walnuts but they are right in front yard so can't miss them when they fall. The boys and I use to play walnut golf and wacked them across creek and fed the squirrels all winter. One of my moms old fashioned hickory nut cakes sure would be good. Mike when big timber sees that he will be drooling for ribeye. He sacked out about 5p.m. has to get up at 2a.m. to go to Indiana

Linda

TD have a nice day. Morning everyone. After the storm went through it stayed 75 degrees. Relief for awhile. Looks like there was a 1.25 in the rain gauge.

Cooling off a little now. Looks like we might have a first good day of squirrel season. Might rain.

Rex, I will say a prayer for your loving woman. Good to know you have some help to take care of her. TD didn't get home until 7:30 tonight won't be hearing from him tonight done passed out. Going to Indiana again tomorrow getting up early again. Mike have you got your gun sitting at the door? Are you planning on sleeping in your clothes and carrying a pop tart in your pocket? What does an aussie look like and do they have a purpose? See ya Linda

Had an english shephard he would sick him on them. His problem was he was very territorial didn't let anything in the yard. Snakes, bees, coons, etc. if they got in his territory they didn't make it out.
