"COON STIRRIN UP 'NORT"

The past three morning's there's been fresh track's along the lane. Yesterday or the mornin before it was -19 & had fresh track's. I see their a comin outa one of the favorite rock den's & a lunker den tree along the lane. What's visible from the truck is the best I had till I gave the "Bum" the option of shakin off some of the carpet dust last nite.

Took about ten minute's to get treed & me another half or better for I got to him & probably more. Coon settin on the outside of a den & no ground barkin involved. I searched heavily for track's all around that tree & seen none that I could find or confirm.

Musta just got lucky grabbin that hollow I guess.........................

Terry,of course it does. Just not sure 'bout gettin Matt & Dan to wanna go after it to hard when they gotta work in the mornin. When ya work outside all day in this I have found that it make's it a lil harder to convince yourself to get back out there after you've done thawed out finally for the first time all day.

Major warm up comin today,They are sayin +19 ! Bust out the tanning lotion !

Matt & I took "Bum" & "Patch" for a hunt last nite. Made one turnout as the snow was rollin in. They got in there a way's & had the holler ringin with the sound of music only coonhunter's can enjoy in one of the most unreal deer yardin spot's in this country. Gonna spend some time huntin in there & lookin for shed's I got a feeling.

We was grinnin pretty good when the trail ended on a big huge 'ol hollow Oak from the ruckus. "Patch" seem's to have gottin louder yet or some of the wax run outa my ear's from to much couch time which is quite possable?

Don't know if'n I've ever fed a more impressive, power slammin, loud treedawg personally?

"Patch" remind's me consistently of "Toad" in a lot of way's. Everything is full steam ahead & it take's him a bit to get unwound after ya pull him off a tree. The dog is posessed or it's seem's that-a-way to me. No strainin required to hear him that's for sure........................

Have had several call in regards to utilizing his gene pool as well as his father's as of late & am more than willing to help any way we can.

We don't push them to the public per say because we have them for our use first & formost but anyone that think's they would like to use "Patch" or his dad the "Bum" is welcome to. A matter of gettin in touch with us & gettin the brucelossis (sp) test done. Both are once again enrolled in the performance program for 2010.

A fellow Blueticker from southern Michigan called yesterday that has an extremely heavy "Boomer" bred female that he is considering bringing out to visit "Patch" hopefully in February. I am gonna get on that list if'n we get'er done I can promise ya'll that!

Ron, Bum needs to teach his son to be more camera friendly! Patch is not very easy to take pictures of at the tree!

"PICTURE DODGIN,CAMO CLAD UP RITE MODEL'S"

Ricochet Jay, 10-4 on the hard to get picture's of said dark dawg! He deffinately didn't get the camera freindly gene from his dad that's for sure.

We have tied him off just a few time's & he remember's it on every tree. Might hav'ta start carryin a lariet along with the rifle.....LOL!! He absolutely does not like missing the chance to chew upon said ringtail's. He's an animal & the desire he show's cause' me to grin a smidge!

Ronald, That snow camo help's'um slip up on 'um maybe & the dark one to stay incognetto(sp) so he don't show up in the picture's very good ? Seem's to be workin. Did ya'll see "Patch" in the last picture?

Ron,thank's! They all look their best in that vertical position don't they! Winter set in out yonder there yet?....LOL!! The drivin anywhere but on the road has come to an abrupt end unfortunately after yesterday's addition.

Look's like the escape to Orangeberg for a lil warm weather ain't gonna happen. Teen's & twenty's make's me wonder if'n them coon down there have enough fuzz on'um to come out & play ? Squeeze just told me they are sayin low thirty's in Miami this weekend. Mickey Mouse may have frosted wisker's!!

All I can say to that is, "How do ya like it now"? !!

PKC

I BELIEVE IT S $800.00 TO SUPERSTAKE ONE FOR THE YEAR AND YOU HAVE TO WIN $100.00 ON A DOG TO PERMENANTLY REGISTER BEFORE YOU CAN SUPERSTAKE. THEY SAY PKC IS THE PLACE TO BE. <v>

I'm mainly interesred in the pup stuff which is the gig I guess? Not much in the way of them hunts around here but our club has discussed hosting some at Mr. D's cabin ?

Kinda hard to slip around on week nite's for our son's/chauffer's to far.

I don't know if it's the place to be for sure for me but I'm likin the idea of them baby stake's & such.

I think if a person is into messin with pup's a good bit it's deffinately an option to look into.

I see their speakin of upper 20's & maybe 30's later into next week. Get some of this settled so it's easier stumblin. If it break's forty I'll be cruisin the lane on the cub. Got me a lil trailer just rite for a sky kennel...LOL!!

I think that would take forever to get to the other side of the farm ?

Just my opinion, but the Drum female is EXACTLY what a blue female should look like!

She is the kind that makes you do a double take when you see them. Not often you come across one that looks like her and has all the tools in the woods as well. You guys have done your homework and it shows.
