Thank's Aubrey and Abram for taking us out and helping explaining the garmin for me. I didn't get as good of pictures as you did. But i guess i will have to go again tonight to see if i can get some more. And Ann can you send the pictures Aubrey took to are email. Thank you

...LOL! Bob just got to see the pix and the updates and loved them. HE agrees with ME too! He LOVES how your dawgs stretch up the trees and commented again on that too... Keep your dawgs in the woods and keep the camrea working! AND... keep that son working the hounds! He really looks like he'll be a Good houndsman!

Aubrey and Abram have been having some fun this last week, thats for sure! They went again last night, and cut Ox solo, and he took a track out the ridge, and treed down in a valley. Here's a few pics:

Aub went hunting again last night. Cut Rip solo 3 times, 1 den and 2 on the outside. Cut Star solo 2 times, 1 den tree, and 1 in a hole.

Scott & Tater were up last night for a hunt. Aub says Tater is "Da Machine!" Abram must think so too, all morning he's been running around saying "Move the Machine" They also took Ox and Rip, made several drops, seen some coon, and had a great time. Thanks for the good hunt, Scott & Tater!

"Gotta move da machine" Funny what kids pick up on.
Had a blast last night. Started slow and finished with a great chase. It was fun watching Ox and Tater chase the coon around and thru the tobacco shed. Then push it out and put mr.coon up.

Aub took Star and Rip out last night. Dropped Star alone and she treed one, then cut Rip alone 3 times, 2 were on the outside and last 1 was a den.

Bill, Scott & Dana went out tonight and made 3 drops with Moon. The first drop she was rusty after not being out for several days. On the second drop she tracked/treed but the tree she was on leaned up to a den tree......no coon was seen. On the third drop she tracked beutifully to a large oak tree and had the meat!! A great time was had by all and looking forward to next weekends hunt!

Congrats on your third place win with Edge.

Took Tater out. I went to a recently logged out woods. Used to be one of my training spots.
Walked Tater down to the former woods. Cast him. He belines staight back toward the Jeep. I see him start working a track then lost sight of him. Went up just in time to hear him strike. I moved a little saw him shoot across the road full head of steam in hot pursuit. I head down the road and I see him flying back toward me. Back across he goes to the woods. Used to be a den tree there. LOL Down the edge they go. I move back up and hear him moving out of the pocket. I see him shoot across the road way down. I now know the track. Leinie, JJ and now Tater have all pushed this track. It's never ended at a tree. It's just ended. I'm walking down the road and I see Tater pop out right where they all have. Called him in and headed out.

Second drop. Tater strikes and pushes a super nice track. Throws his locate and starting cranking them out. He had the meat.

I leashed him up, walked about 20' and recast him. He started working a track. Thought it was the same one. He pushed it out and down the field into the woods and thru his locate and had the meat. Never struck in. Just flat out treed it. We were maybe 50' from the last tree. Gotta love it. Called it a night on a hi note.

Jay, the kids and I are looking forward to the "dog races" (as Abram calls them) coming up a little later this spring and summer.

Congrats again, Brandon, on your 3rd place win with Edge last weekend!

On Tuesday night, Aubrey took Rip out solo and made 2 trees. Last night, Aubrey took Rip and Jesse took Paris (a Clyde X Ann pup), they ran and treed several times and had a good hunt. Paris is a nice female that has all the goods to really compete in the hunts with a little more time. Keep putting her in the woods, Jesse....she's coming along nicely!

Aubrey if you would start hunting deer they wouldn't get that big and die of old age! haha lol! Wish I could find a some sheds. It's been a long time since I last went shed hunting.
