another long week, glad thats over....ain't had time to do nothing..getting ready to start the siding next week...figured up the linear feet on the siding..if you layed all the siding end to end there would be just over 6 MILES of it...at least it is cooler....

I turned loose at the end of my pasture and he hit one in a couple of minutes and headed right for that slough. He went on the other side driving it so hard I thought he would catch it. He gave that long bawl and settle into a chop. I headed that way and finally got to him and he had that coon up a young hickory tree no bigger than my arm. Left there and turned loose again and finally he hit one and drove it back east toward town.Finally I heard him tree and I knew he was in town. Sure enough he had the coon treed in want of my neighbors yard. My neighbor came out and said I knew it had to be you. We laughed and finally found the coon. He called his wife out and let her see it. By then I think the whole neighbor hood was awake. I put him on a leash and my neighbor offered to give a ride back home and I told him thanks but would rather walk. Got almost to the house and here comes the cops. He stop and seen who it was and told me they had a call that there was a burglar out there with a flashlight. I just shook my head and we said bye and I went home and he went back some where. Some neighbors are just plain nuts. End of hunt.
