Hey Blake I don’t have time to wait till one is 4 years to take to hunts, that’s no fun, it’s more fun to take a 1 year old and beat the old dogs. I don’t want to be known as one of “those guys” that enter a 4 or 5 year old dog in a Registered cast.

Yes the Indiana state 2nd place leader from last year put a whooping on our cast he scored 450 in an hr. The closest thing to him was 75+.

I bet that Clifford is mad sitting at your house and not getting to go play with the big dogs. Some people think that going to a comp hunt is fun whether they win or lose. And some people just can't stand to lose so they don't go. And some people would rather spend their money on going out to eat and drink than spend it going to a coon hunt. I guess that it is all about priorities.

Clifford is pretty happy to have a little boy that loves him and a pet on the head when he gets feed. He's much more simple minded than those that are worried about how many hunts he gets entered. I've got big shoulders I can stir this pot for a long, long time without a break.

I will be up there this week to see Boone. I bet that he is pretty mad also. Garrett has been neglecting him. Maybe Rhonda will cheer him up. I will ride by and ask Clifford how he is doing. You have to have awfully broad shoulders to run with this bunch.
Does this mean that you are not going to get Clifford ready and take him to S/S in April?

We bad 23 dogs the first round. I know Garrett and Boone pulled out a win and won $88.50. Garrett’s handling skills are getting better and better. Congrats to my little buddy!!!

It's all true Richard. But no, I'm still behind as usual.

Tyler and Peanut won our late round cast.
Matt and Rye won their late round cast.


And I was pretty tired when it was all said and done. We may try to go for a round one night this weekend at the state hunt. Just have to wait and see what all happens this week.

Well rest up this week. Those doubleheaders can be pretty brutal if you are not used to hunting late and you have one of those deep and lonely dogs. Have you ever heard the story of the tortoise and the hare? I wonder if G is too wore out to make the State Hunt?
