Tanna trots off in the dark and before you know it, she is a half mile deep, on an old cold feeding track and slams a tree with that loud radical mouth. Tanna is loud and you don't know how deep she is, until you start walking to her. Or, she will DRIVE a track in deep and tree it Walker Style. I should have named her freight train. These Rambler females can absolutely fly on track. Tanna is a pleasure to hunt.

Tanna is a littermate of Gr Ch Starke's Finley River Iron Man, Finley River Spot, Finley River Stormy,and Finley River Kate.

Ramblin Jane is a littermate of Gr Nt Ch Rolling Hills Whiner and Gr Nt Ch Rolling Hills Tess, Kansas State Ch.

Jewell started to tree coon early in life. She was independent. She never did care what the dogs were doing. She ran a coon to catch...through the worst patch of multifloral rose, hog net fence, etc. She has the most heart of any female that I have ever owned. She has a male dog mouth. This is probably my favorite hound.

Pearl has won Shows at Autumn Oak and at the National level
Pearl has won several State Championship Treeing Contests
Pearl won 2 RQE hunts in pursuit of her Nt Ch degree

First nite in the woods, Sadie went hunting with the dogs, opened on track some, and treed. We shot the coon out and she dove on that coon and fought it like she had been fighting coons for years. She is gritty. I just love this little female.

Jane is so fast the previous owners shocked her repeatedly on track thinking she was running off game, just because their slow Blueticks could not run with her and she was always split treed in deep. They thought she had treed off game. I can't believe some hunters are so unaware of the ability that Rambler dogs possess. I snapped her up in a heartbeat.

Hi,

See what phenotype you get when the genes breed true? If the genotype breeds as true as the phenotype, we may be talking about this litter for years to come. Only time will tell that story. I hope it is long lived.

Emma finished her HTX title by passing three hunts in a row, with no faults, this past October, with the moon up and the leaves off.

Hi,

Thanks Jeff. Had fun hunting with Charlie. We had not been in the woods together for a few years. We talked dogs and talked about old hunters and hunts of years past.

Boys, Jeff has a young dog that is linebred Dual Gr Ch Finley River Nite Hawk. He is a very nice hound. I call him a coondog. If you get an opportunity to go hunting with Sid, observe how a true Finley River dog operates in the woods.

I would bring him home any nite Jeff got distracted and would take a pile of money.

PS Boys, I hunt by myself and have for years. If I had a good dog, I would be the only one that knew. I have been that way for years. I would hunt with someone else, once in awhile. But, I am a firm believer that if you are going to make a young dog into what I call a coondog, it will be made during long nites, moon up, ground frozen, bone chilling cold, patiently honing that project, while hunting alone during the coon season. Nite after nite... just you and that young dog. A team, forged through a strong bond, blending ability, guts, and yard dog smarts. A partnership filled with plenty of love and respect.
