Just found out today that I won the 2010 Spring Super Stakes Sire Award for the Bluetick breed with Legend ($500),also won the Bluetick Breeder award with ole Six Pack ($500),and will receive 10 percent of what Baby Six won for the Sire and another 10 percent for the Breeder at this year's Spring Super Stakes ($380).Pretty proud of all 3.

I've had Legend in the back yard hanging out the last few days and his foot doesn't seem to be bothering him much so I left the young dogs at home and carried the old fella hunting tonight.Treed 3 singles,a den,and a good sized tree that I never found anything on.Age is catching up with us both but we both enjoyed the evening out.

I know I always enjoyed myself when I got to listen & see Legend do his thing.

I can relate to what you are saying, when I hunted last Thursday night I carried ole Hank for a drop. The ole fella managed to find the side of a tree to stand up on & bark a lick or two. Although Hank is just common, I've sure had a blast following the ole fella around these woodlots over the years.

Went for a Check-up and another x-ray on the leg and received some good news from the Dr.The bone is healing on the leg and looks good.With a little luck I'm hoping to be back hunting and back working full time in Sept. if all goes well.I'm still going to rehab but off of the cane now and getting better.

Thanks again to everyone for the calls,support,and prayers.It's been a long battle but I'm finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

Wanted to let everyone know that for the remainder of the summer I have PKC Silver CH,NITECH (4 wins to GRAND) Herron's Ace here at the house beside Legend if anyone is interested in seeing them go.Hoping to finish Ace out soon and hunt him in some PKC hunts this summer for Michael Herron and Craig Cooper.This is an independent,coon treeing,Bluedog that should prolly be considered into someone's breeding program.Liked what I seen so far and I'm hoping to see a few Legend females bred to him this summer.I'll try to get his PED. posted soon but if anyone would like to see him or Legend in the timber feel free to call.Neither one are perfect,but both are very nice dogs that I will gladly show to the public if interested.I don't own neither one of them and have nothing to gain but if you're looking for a solid,coon treeing Bluedog,worthy of raising a litter out of,I have two here that you might want to look at,just let me know.

Congrats to all the Blue Dogs that made a good showing at Autumn Oaks.Myself and Sparky McClellan took a little trip to Michigan for a few nights and hunted with Larry Harvey early in the week.It was great to finally meet Larry in person and I really enjoyed the trip.We came home and went over to Autumn Oaks during the day on Friday.It was good to see some old friends and visit for a while.I turned Legend a few times on Friday night for Larry at the house here.It was good to get the old fella out for a few drops and as always,I don't mind showing him,or pups off of him to the public.It was good to meet Larry and as always,I enjoyed seeing my ole buddy Sparky.

Look forward to getting together again with these two soon.They are both first class fellas and sure enough COONHUNTERS.
