Glad to hear your mother is getting better. I lost my grandmother this month. We are selling all her cattle tomorrow. Having a sell in a week or two. Take care of your family. Talk to you later.

Larry is having some fun with Rags and Little Rags. He and Willie are hunting like kids again. Rags couldn't be in better hands whlie i get my mother back going. I need to thank Larry, Terry, and Lonnie for hunting my dogs while i can't. Larry said he didn't think they had any coon until he got Rags.

5 month olds, I picked up a road kill yesterday morning and mine went crazy, Rick was excited about the one that came into him and treed that coon and he dont get excited easy, Hope Terrys gets to hunting out better, she still has plenty of time, lol. May be a good one to breed to Scar some day.

larry ,willie and i were hunting last night with jazz and rags jr. jazz treed 1 then her and jr. split. we went to jazz and she had another one, when we got to jr. he was 50 feet in a leaning tree with a coon. long story short he fell out and died from injuries. larry and willie a both really shaken. they loved this young hound. i am trying to find them another young hound male or female that is running and treeing . if you know of something let me know.

Sorry to hear about the young hound. Just about any hound that is a treedog can get in trouble on those leaning trees. Hounds follow the scent and can almost walk up them. It doesn't take long until there very high and in harms way. It's hard to train one not to climb these type trees.

We

were hoping he would maybe come down half way before he jumped or fell but he didn't. It was bad, we were all to old to try and climb up there and didnt have a safty strap either. I know none of us slept last night , you just keep playing it over in your mind and wondering if we should of just walked off and left him he might have came down later or something.

Got my Buddy Danny Joe to go tonight, Stepper and Duece worked a coon 3 quarters of a mile on the Rolling Fork River crossed it several times, then went up a little drain and BAM, locked down with a Big Boar, Then Chiggers worked a Tuff one through Cut Over and came treed hard in a big pine, Didnt find it but she gave a good try for a 11 month old dog.
