Luke 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

We as Christians should be doing the lord's work and sharing the news of Jesus with this world. If you don't know Jesus you are already dead and don't even know it. I can say that without a doubt because as I look back before I was saved I was truly dead, not physically but spiritually. Jesus has came to us to give us life thru him and his gift of salvation. Jesus tells us that he came not for the righteous but for the sinners and that all of man has sinned, so he came for everyone of us. If we as Christians will just plant the seeds (Gods Word) into peoples hearts, God will do the rest. Nothing that I say or any other Christian says can win a person to Christ, you have to use God's word and God will do the rest. That is why it so important to read your bible and use at as a sword (Rev 1:16 and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword) for the word of God cuts both coming and going. Jesus tells us that he will use the same sword Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Jesus has given all the tools we need to serve him and all we as Christians have to do is be willing to let him guide us. Jesus already knows what tommorw is going to bring, he doesn't make mistakes, he doesn't have to take chances, he doesn't have to depend on someone else, he has already taken care of everything. The economy doesn't matter, the price of gas, the prolems of this world should not matter as God promised that the "Gates of hell shall not prevail against the church." We already have his reassurance that he will never leave our side all we have to do is be faithful and spread his word to all that has ears. We as Christians should be about God's work and we should not get side tracked by worldly problems, they are to easy to use as excuses and reasons not to do what God wants us to do. I know that I fall flat on my face while I serve God but I know that my Lord will always lift Patrick Robinson, RiverBottom Ron, Tracy Beyers, Brad Issacs and anybody else that falls back up and love us no matter what. Now I don't know of anybody else that I can depend on like my Lord, I don't care who it is you can't count on nobody like our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am going to leave you guys with one of the most popular Psalms that there is. Don't you just read it, but let God talk to your heart while you read it and know that he means every word of it. God Bless and God loves each and everyone of you guys more than we will every be able to understand.

Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psa 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

I am so excited. The Lord has really been enabling me to witness lately. I have talked to three separate people this week. Each time I talked, I was not Nervous or afraid of what they would think of me. I simply spoke and the words came out. Not one person shut me down. The last two I talked to was in a 2 on 1 situation. Two friends that my wife and I would run around town with occasionally. These were the two people that I know personally that were the hardest for me to ever speak about God with. They are really struggling with some depression and they remarked that they were surprised at how well I was handling everything after the ordeal I went through a year ago. This was a door, I ran through it and explained how I would have been a mess had it not been for God. I was contemplating Suicide because of everything that piled onto me. I could no longer keep it together but by the Grace of God and what his son did for me and them on the cross, I was able to overcome. I don't know how much penetrated, I explained the hardened heart, and how God works. I was planting seeds, I sure do love them.

That is a wonderful idea. You know it gets me to thinking about the sower. Some seeds fall on highway to hard ground, other seeds fall in the thorns or the weeds, yet other seeds fall on fertile ground. Its not my job to to determine where the seeds are sown, I'm just supposed to cast them out on the ground (share Jesus), and after that My job is over . The Lord waters and fertilizes by the power of His Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. So if they reject the seeds the Lord has told me to sow, they are not rejecting me, but or Lord Jesus Christ. So all I have to do is sow..........

BY WHAT NAME CAN A MAN, WOMAN, BOY, OR GIRL BE SAVED?
Is it the name of the pastor? No
Is it the name of the song leader? No
Is it the name of your mom or dad? No
Is it the name above the church house door? No
Lets look to the word of GOD for the answer.

In the book of Acts, ch 2 verse [21] SAYS
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Verses 36 to 38 Says [36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts ch. 4 verse 10 –12 says [10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
[11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts ch. 16 verse 30-31 says [30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
[31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Now you may say to yourself, I am a good moral person, why do I have to get saved, to go to heaven? John ch. 3 v. 3 says [3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Romans ch 3 v 23 says [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans ch 5 v 12 says [12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
You may be wondering, How can I be saved?
Lets look at Romans Ch. 10 V. 8-13
[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1John.1 Verses 8 to 10

[8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

How many of us are in debt? Have you all been paying your bills on time? Have you ever had a debt collector call on you before. Well I know that the greatest of all debt collectors has called on me and he said that they have been paid in full by him. I am not talking about a financial debt, but rather a spiritual debt. Read the following scripture and think about what is said:

Luke 7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

Luke 7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

Luke 7:38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luke 7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

Luke 7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

Luke 7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

Luke 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

Luke 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

Luke 7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

Luke 7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

Luke 7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

What makes us in spiritual debt? Sin that is the biggest debt you owe in your life. Now if you haven't ask Jesus to come into your life and take away your sins then you are late on that bill and you will never be able to pay it by yourself. As you read about the parable think about if you have sinned little or alot and how much you are greatful and love Jesus for doing what he has done for all of us. Isn't it wonderful to know that when Jesus calls to collect that debt that he won't try and see if you have the money to pay for it, it isn't concerned with placing it against us anymore, but he takes it and makes it his own and has payed that bill in full and you are no longer responsible for those sins. Now about the woman in the parable, in those days a woman like that was frowned on and I hate to say but we do the same today. Remember we all have sinned and it don't matter what it is sin is sin. Don't frown or turn up your nose on people as we all have the same loving grace and nobody is to low for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to save. Have a blessed day and please turn loose of all that spiritual debt and let Jesus collect it for you.

This thread has been going on since 06-19-2007, and today is the first time i can remember reading any of it. I believe this is a good thing, and it lets GODS word go out to those in need, I am very thankful for all that GOD has done for me. I use to be a weekend drunk, have smoked pot, and done many sinful things, but JESUS CHRIST gave his life for ALL my sins, and for this I am truly thankful. If any of you do not know JESUS CHRIST as your LORD AND SAVIOR, I pray that you can see and understand that if you die without CHRIST, then HELL will be your home for eternity.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

How many of us have lost our first love or "honeymoon love." Some of you may have been saved for along time and need to ask yourself if you are still as excited as you once was about Jesus? Can you remember when you first got married to your wife how close you was and then after time it seems to loose some of the excitement. Well our spiritual relationship with Jesus can (if we let it) do the same. And once a marriage loses the excitement it is in danger and your spiritual life is no different. But remember God isn't the one who will move away, we are the ones who move away and grow distant in our relationship. I mean we need to be about doing God's work but what is our intentions? If we are not doing something to glorify God then we are wasting our time and the only person we are fooling is ourselves. God knows why we do things. If you are going to church to obtain a country club feeling then you are wasting your time. In the passage above God tells us to remember where we came from, to repent, and do work for God like we did when we was first saved. God wants us to let our light shine and we can only shine if we are doing work for him and to only glorify him, don't do works for yourself. Jesus Christ is your first love and should always be, there should be no other love higher than that for him. Don't put love for yourself, family, church, etc higher than that for Jesus, THE LOVE FOR HIM IS FIRST AND FOR MOST. We owe everything to him and we are nothing without God. I know I at times drift away from God but he is always there, and we should always strive in our daily life to be as close to him as we can and do works for him for the right reasons and go to church for the only reason there should be is to glorify God. If we are doing the things for the wrong reason God knows. God Bless and have a blessed day and please if you don't know Jesus let him come into your life today and see the difference.

MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS LOST ALL OF HER HAIR ONCE AGAIN TO ALAPESHA AERIATA. MY HEART BLEEDS FOR HER DURING THIS TIME OF TRIAL. IT SEEMS THAT MY HANDS ARE TIED AS A PARENT BUT MY HEART IS NOT. I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY, NON-STOP FOR HER, AND I ASK THAT YOU TAKE THE TIME TO PRAY FOR HER AS WELL. ALSO PRAY FOR ME AND MY WIFE AS WE CONTINUE TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE CONCERNING OUR DAUGHTER THAT WE SO DEARLY LOVE. ITS AN AWSOME MORNING HERE IN ILLINOIS IT WAS 58 DEGREES THIS MORNIN AT 600AM I GOT UP POURED A CUP OF COFFEE WENT OUT AND SET ON THE PORCH, THE BIRDS WERE SINGIN,THERE WERE ABOUT 10,000 SNOW AND BLUE GEESE IN A FIELD ACROSS FROM THE HOUSE THEY WERE MAKIN SO MUCH NOISE BUT THEY WERE AWSOME TO LISTEN TO,IT MADE ME THINK OF HOW GOD TAKES CARE OF EVERYTHING THAT HE CREATED,THEY JUST FLY BACK AND FORTH EACH WINTER GOD GIVES THEM FEED ALONG THE WAY GOD TAKES CARE OF THEM,JUST KIKE HE DOES EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US AND ALL THE LIVING THINGS HE MADE,COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND YOU WILL BE SURPRIZED OF ALL THE THINGS THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU,,HE LOVES YA,,,ASK GOD INTO YOUR LIFE TODAYHES AN AWSOME GOD!!WE LOVE YAS TO ,HAVE A BLESSED DAY,YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,RON
