It was hell out there. My wife put up a 32ft by 10ft tarp on the outside of our dog kennels. That sun absolutely zapped me. I really didn't think I was going to make it back to the house. Sugar was 77 when I tested it. The dogs will have shade now on the outside.

We got one hell of a storm. It dumped 2 inches of rain tore limbs off and did some thing to my security light. Won't come on now. I couldn't get on here earlier. Was anybody else having problems?

Glad to hear you got some rain but you didn't need it that way. I was afraid with the heat when the storms came they would be bad. Been having problems with everything being really slow. Guess we don't have anymore chances of rain until next weekend. Got in my sweet corn today didn't do as well as it should have. Have some late corn planted maybe it will do better. Hope everyone is ok Linda

A BIG 10-4 ON THE COOLER This is my idea of a real good time. As nice as it is maybe I can get more work out of the cook Don't over do it on the clean up Mike.

10-4 on the clean up. Have to go to town and get some repair kit for the tarp. It busted out three of those grumlets. Just put it up and all ready repairing on it. That is the way my luck goes. But I sure enjoyed that 2 inch rain we got. Sorry you guys didn't get any. We are due some more today. I will pray for you guys to get some. Linda I will double pray for your garden and that sweet corn. You all have a wonderful day and god bless.

It is so much nicer getting up and not sweating can work outside now a lot longer. Kid and I got in potatoes yesterday could have done better but not too bad. Picked more blackberries yesterday evening, thought they would be getting done but still a lot that aren't ripe yet. May try and do some painting today. Have a good day all. Linda
