I just heard last night that one of the 13 mos old Boone X Wendy pups was being hunted by himself now and treeing coons. If you want nice, early starting pups then you need to bring your female down here to Boone.

I have 3 different pups out of three different females. All three have some qualities that are different. I have two males and one female. Both males have outstanding mouths and great locates. From what I have seen all three have natural independance, have lots of drive, are early starting, and have great track driving abilities.

Boone is now qualified for the UKC World again this year. Maybe we can get through the Zones to the finals again. He is starting to get back in shape from his bout with Erlicchia and being stood up for a year.
Oh my goodness, I almost forgot. He has a 2 yr old pup out of the Toadie cross that is also qualified. Everyone asks Jared why he sold Boone, but if you hunted with his pup out of Boone you would see why.

Congrats to ya Richard on the RQE win!!! I think he even beat a final four contender of Autumn oaks a couple of years back. I think this is the third year Boone had been qualified.
Fancy is really coming along. I like what she is becoming, a naturaly independent, hard hunting, coondog. Just the way I like em!!!

Boone did the best he could at Autumn Oaks with what he had to work with. He won his cast with 225+. All he could get after were old cold tracks. It sure was hot, dry and dusty up there. Boone had 2 trees by himself and one with the other dogs. One coon and two that we couldn't even see to shine.
But I did get to talk to a gentleman that has a 13 mos old Boone pup that he has already put in one hunt. He told me that he had him out last week and he went 900 yds by himself and had a coon treed.
Now it is back to work. There are only 2 more weeks until the Zones. At least now we only have to win our cast and Boone is pretty good at that.

I got a chance to hunt with Fancy and Jared on Thursday night. If she is an example of what Boone is producing, he has a pretty bright future ahead of him.

Oh my goodness, I believe that Boone has lost a little weight since that picture was taken. Someone told me that Boone is now tied for first place Redbone in the Purina Race with Wayne O'Mary's Hammer and has 2 cast wins in the Triple Crown Race. Now "all" he has to do is get 2 cast wins in the Zone hunt next weekend.
