Nt Ch ( 4 wins to Gr) Starke's Finley River Rattler

Hi,

I crossed Trap on House's Lipper. Starke's Finely River Rattler was born from this cross.

He was the best track dog I have ever hunted with in my life. People literally had their minds blown away that hunted with him or against him. He was one of the most intense, LOUD, RADICAL, treedogs I have ever heard tree. He was a FREAK of nature.

He could run a cold frozen coon track in the winter better than dogs could run a hot track in the summer. Most people said he ran ghost tracks or off tracks and fell off on coon. The only thing I can say is, they never had an outstanding track dog. Rattler was a freak. He had no equal that I ever knew about or hunted with. If I ever name a dog Starke's Finley River Rattler 2, make a trip and see what I am talking about. Seeing is believing.

The Hunt

Hi,

Thanks, Jeff. Demon has got a horn and he is quickly developing into a good track dog. He has no quit in him. He is a nice pup.

Time flies when the dogs are operating good and they come close to catching coons on the ground.

Seems like we always have a good time hunting. Call me anytime.

Thanks for going with me to get Jewell bred to 3M Drifter and driving home. I would have just had to pullover and sleep.

We will have to swap dogs and I will get Sid finished.

PS Iron Man is the most natural dog I have raised in 40 years. His first litter is on the ground and they are treeing the squirrels and cats at Art's house.

That's true Treeing every cat that passes through the yard. Big big big mouths on them , the other day I was broke down in the field waiting on a Tech to come fix the Machine and they "sounded off"!! I listened for about 5 minutes all the while telling the guys that were with me to hush up. One guy said what "F" are you trying to hear? Those aren't your dogs, to far from your house.!! I asked if he wanted to bet ? Got in the truck drove to the house and they had an old scarred up Tom Cat in the tree. He couldt believe it. Two miles away. Can't wait to start them in the sweet corn patch this summer.. No drags, No sent covered stuffed animals, no roll cage training,, all natural,all genetics , no training necessary . Lol.!!

Iron Man & Spot are litter mates.

Boy's, Let me tell you. I've never hunted with Iron Man but if he's anything like his sister Spot, He is something special. This female has the patential to be world class. She leaves like she was shot out of a gun, opens quick with a big OL' screaming bawl, and fast,fast,fast. She Drifts a old bad track screaming here and there and covering ground like ive only seen a couple dogs do in my life time. And when she comes onto that OL' Hard wood there is absolutely no question when this female is tree'd, you want to talk about a radical tree dog.. i mean Every breath the most ungodly non stop noise you have ever heard..hahaha She just tickles me pink every time i take her out. I Love Her.

If she reproduces even close to her likeness, i will be smiling from ear to ear for yrs to come.

Art - Hope all is well Bud. Keep us posted on those Iron Man Pups.

Spot x Whiner pup

Hi,

Iron Man is a sneaky son of a gun. Opens here and there with the speed of a freight train. If Mr. Coon doesn't climb, he is caught. He gets away from the other dogs, not from drag racing a 1/2 to 1 mile from you before he starts a track, he does it by possessing yard dog smarts and one helluva nose. He strikes and then he is gone like a ghost. He drives a track with one thing on his mind... catch old ringtail.

If he winds a coon before he strikes one, he will walk on his hind legs for awhile and then slip off and will slam a tree in a heart beat.

I want to get one more litter of pups on the ground and see how they do, before I advertise him at stud.

It will be private treaty. I am not a believer in the modern day Walker. If you like them, that's great.

Cant wait for my little Spot 2 . Counting the days down.

Taking spot to Dean Bitzles tomorrow breeding her to my Winer semen.

I'm super pumped about this cross. Spot is a super nice female, huge mouth, super nose, hard tree dog, and fast fast fast...not to mention accurate. Now Winer is no different except even louder, ear deafening loud. The first time I heard him I thought they was playing the video of Houses Lipper over a loud speaker...My god what a mouth....I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas to get here. PS Been waiting for this cross for years. Triple Rambler bred just like Starke's Finley River Tuff

Little Sadie or Scooterbug does not do anything in low gear. This little dog just makes me laugh. She was not well taken care of when I got her. She was very sick and I thought she might die. She is doing well now and I can't wait to hunt her. The disease destroyed her pretty head, but I love her just the same. She showed me how much heart and determination she had to live.

FAST. That's all I can say. Hard treedog that has the coon. A smart son of a gun.

I am waiting to see what he reproduces. First litter on the ground and getting good reports. They are going to be independent and not scared of the dark.

Finished Iron Man to Gr Ch Saturday. Got that out of the way. Hadnt shown him on the bench for 18 months, that includes no practice at home.

Decided to throw Trap in the box and take her. I hadn't put her her on a bench for over 20 months. She got on the bench and showed like a rock star, lol. Wish I had went to a RQE and got her qualified.

On a cold frosty winter's night, if you turn her loose, you had better be ready to go hunting. She will knock a hole in the dark and you will not see her again until treed. You will hear that tremendous bawl mouth open on track, locate on tree, and tree until you get there. No matter how long it takes. This female is as tough as they come and loves to kill coons... no matter how big they are.
