ballz

Hi dave hunted bear wallow today,mile and a half all up hill to the spruces.saw all kinds of hare tracks only a couple of old bobcat tracks couldnt jump him up the trail was to old.stared at 6 am got back home with ballz at2 pm ,my hunting buddy brian is pissed off ,lol,says he hates cat hunting ,told him you enjoyed it running the easy ones,cant be a fair wheather hunter.told me to call him in the spring,lmao

32 on monday just cut fresh tracks,located the den,going to put my ballz in the swamp at5 am monday.cat is making a good curcit,its very consistant.try and get some pics.we havent had a good run in a month.whish us luck

sent pics of the cat tracks ,female tracks to old for ballz to handle,put the male in a den,2hour run,the male is huge!,located a second male smaller about 30 lbs this afternoon,female is a resident adult,ballz treed her twice this summer,might get lucky snow today,her hom e area is small.would love to get pics of her,

we found her den in the ledges,brian though he saw her thru the scope tucked in the den,her home area is overlaped by a 30lbs male ,they start breeding soon

Coons are in full rut around here now. We went out and made 4 trees at the end of some long runs. Boars are definately working the dens. Last tree we made was on the edge of a field in a little tree, I squalled hard and he walk right down the side of the tree. Took a coyote hunter with me last night on his first coon hunt. He took a video on his phone of that coon on the ground. He told me that was the coolest thing he ever seen. Hope to get the video on here, but it did not download on my phone when he sent it to me. Hope to get that figured out soon. LOL.

Tom I expect to see some pics of that big cat with your Ballz.

went out his mornining dave ,tracks sleeted over,damm hard conditions,ballz worked the track 400 yards just couldnt get enough scent.this is his first year really cating it.since nov.2011 he has run 17 cats-4 he put in dens,13 in trees,of which 8 were empty(not seen)4 were seen during training season,1 during hunting season fireing pin in my 22 mag was broke. i have been told this is good for a 2yr old,jeeze just think if i knew what i was doing and an experianced dog to train him ,we may get lucky yet.he is a jelouse prick,lol.hunting season ends in 3 weeks in ny ,1 week left in Vt
