Just read this morning that Kansas has a higher RPI then uk but didn't uk beat Kansas by almost 40.

That doesn't have nothing to do with rpi rating. Its a strength ofschedule rating. It changes all season long as some teams get better and some play worse. I think its mainly used in picking teams for the tournament.

Nathan is right on about RPI. RPI and SOS are huge factors when selecting teams for the NCAA tourney.

Nice to see GTOWN and Butler getting some respect in the polls. I think both are capable of making a nice run in March. If you haven't seen the monster center GTOWN has named Josh Smith you need to watch him play tonight on Fox Sports1. He also has a great attitude a real rarety these days.

I think I jinxed GTOWN because they looked bad tonight against Xavier. Goes to show you just how deep the Big East is. Not a single easy out.

Do you all think uva or UK will make it to tournament undefeated? My self, I don't see it happening. I think they have just as good shot winning the whole thing as anyone. But there's a reason its not been done in 30 yrs! Its not uncommon for a great team to have a off night. Most the best teams in my generation have lost 1-2 before cutting the nets down.

Based on coach Cals road record in SEC play I would say no. I see 2 losses coming before the SEC tourney.

Virginia will not either in my opinion. To many tough road games.

Coach Cal always loses to a couple peeons in SEC play. Usually South Carolina was the ones to do it. Maybe Mizzou tomorrow night LOL

Just in my opinion kentuckys bigs would take okafer to school. I firmly think UK would be beat duke by 9 or more also

Okafor can score there's no doubt and he would score on anyone UK threw at him but he can't defend. He has pitiful foot work and is flat slow. He can also rebound well but defense as a whole is something Duke needs major work on.

I will say that Notre Dame has a very tough team. We have seen 3 of the last 4 NCAA tourneys that a great PG can carry a team. Notre Dame has one in Grant. They are capable of making a nice run.

I bet Providence is loving Notre Dames success since they are the only team to beat them @ Notre Dame.

Yes okafer can score and rebound but defense is where you win ball games and duke is hurting

WCS would destroy Oakfor. He hasn't been put up against a team as strong as uk when it comes to defense.
