Terry took Turbo off of Spud x Izzy and I had Dragon. Turbo is 7 months old with a nice mouth that carries good. Both dog got struck in and those two blues sounded good pushing the mask bandit. Both fell treed and had the meat. I sat in the truck and just enjoyed listening to blues get it done right.

Terry's two 7 month old males are going to be hard to beat in the hunts. I have now hunted with them both and I like them.

Dragon I must say I really like him a lot. He is a good clean 2 year old with potential to win at any level. He keeps his mouth closed till he smells coon. He can drive one to the tree there is know doubt about that.
You have no problem hearing Dragon on track or tree. He is a good hard treeing young dog that is good about having the meat.

Thanks Terry Estill for getting me out of the house and hearing the blues get it done.

Sounder is at Frank Barber's home in Powhatan Va and Lumber is at Cody Stader home in Indiana. Neither one has got to breed any females yet as far as I know.

Dragon is getting a little more out of shape but the heat doesn't seem to bother him much at this point.
Maggie looks a little puffy in the back so I will watch and see if she finally starts coming in.
Magic is just enjoying getting feed and cleaned up after. All dogs are ready to get in the timber that is for sure.
I'm pushing myself and I hope to get back in the woods some day. I may have to have another surgery but not sure till after Aug about that. I'm just not right with my legs, hands and balance. My spinal cord is still swollen and irritated so my neck hurts like heck most all the time.

Terry and I went. We got one bushed with no track. Man those hounds sounded good. We also got treed in deeper but Terry says to many trees together to know for sure if they had the second one or not. They didn't sound as great on that tree so I don't know if it was just to hot or they didn't have him. We came home after that.
There is a two night hunt this weekend so we shall see if it isn't to hot maybe take Dragon for a spin.

That Turbo male of Terry's is 7 months old and he could compete right now if a person wanted to put him in a hunt or two. Good mouth good clean treedog. He is off his SPUD MALE AND THE IZZY FEMALE OF George Jeffers.

I have done my fair share of winning and losing. I know a good dog when I I see it and hear it. I have tried hard to presents the public foryears with good dogs. Yes I'm fond of the Utchman X Smoky River crosses. There is good dogs in every bloodline. I'm not blind or deaf. But with that being said Dragon has plenty Rambo Smokey River Utchman running through his veins he has plenty top reproducers in his bloodline. He is a very talented young dog with limited hunting. His ability to compete is what I like. He has been an absolute natural. I truly believe he was pushed he could go a long way in a short amount of time due to my health I have no idea when or if I'm going to go to compete again. I would like to breed him at an early age. I think there's something there.

Dragon is definitely a natural. I have hunted with Dragon at 6 months old up to the present in which I put the last win on Dragon. Dragons potential is unlimited as coon dog, competition and stud dog. I do know that if Elmo didn't have his health problem Dragon would be making a lot of noise in the hunts.

We took Dragon and Turbo the other 8 month old male off of Spud x Izzy. We managed to get some eyes to look down. Those two males sure sounded good on the tree.
We did make one extra turn with Dragon alone and between the cattle mooing and Turbo barking I think he missed his coon this time. He couldn't make up his mind on a couple of trees and finally treed but wasn't proud of it. He doesn't do bad only being out maybe twice a month. I need a handler to take him during the week and get him sharp.
Me well I walked a short distance and tried to shine a tree and got dizzy and stumbled some. My neck is in full pain today so all I have done is take pills and lay on the couch.

I can't worry about a lot right now except my health. I have another MRI and I see a neurologist after that the my neurosurgeon will step in a find out our next steps to getting me back in the wood and on the dance floor. We did get Dragon to a hunt but I pulled him after 26 minutes. Oh well he will have to give it another go later on. I need a hunter and handler so he gets hunted during the week and put in some hunts on the weekends.

I'm going to get stronger on of these day if God is willing and this is my calling. If not I'll have to find another hobby in life.

I sure would like to get Magic bred to an female of good quality. He is 10 and acts like he is 6. I've had this line of Breathless Blues for 22 years and going. I don't want to let this line die out.
Who has any female of BluKnight that are still living and can raise a litter or two.

He is looking in great shape to be 10 years old and I hope to get maybe a few females bred to him. He is the 5th generation of my own dogs that I have won with since 1994. They are coon treeing hounds not slick treedogs. They stay put in any weather.

Dragon needs 10pts to be nite champion. Who knows when that will happen since I can't hunt. He too is a nice one with limited hunting.

Well I had my Spinal Tap done. They took quite a bit of spinal fluid to check for things. Who knows. Looks like I will be moving from my place and the place I'm looking at has no dogs. This could suck. Maybe it's time for me to start a new chapter in my life. Maybe somebody is trying to tell me something.
